Yeah it's an obvious link due to him being an ex player. I think it'll be O'Dea still.
Am no sure on this, why would O’Dea, take this job, if he doesn’t keep you up, he’ll be tarnished from the off

Thanks for your kind comments! I was just about to post the link here.
Great to speak to some of the Lichties and thanks for being welcoming and having a laugh!
Looking forward to welcoming you to Broomfield!
It was a good watch

If Robbo is still there, then it’s him

My thoughts were that Gold fouled the player and he was stumbling and fell into Little. For me it was Gold who committed the foul and he was the one that should have seen yellow. Might change my mind when I see the replay though.
Worst decision wasn't even the refs but the offside against Hylton second half which is still baffling me as he must have been 10 yards onside.
We were almost inline with this alleged offside, it was a terrible decision

Aye defo thought gold fouled and boy was falling into ricky harsh imo
3 minutes ago, ExiledLichtie said:That's what I thought too. I'd have to see it again, but I was baffled by that first booking. The ref seemed pretty sure, to the point where it looked like he was offering to meet ToB in the car park after the match for a square go.
Think Ricky’s 2nd booking was caused by, him seething over the 1st

Need to give Hylton a healthy sum of money to keep him here for the full year
Now Craig Slater is up to speed he’s strolling it, what a player, not just on the ball but off the ball too. Doing all the dirty stuff

Well, that was pleasant

On reflection, there’s probably some sort of drop off in midweek games, but I think, for me, the issue is, the absolute nonsense reason, for the change
and the people who are attempting to justify it

Seems very strange that both teams weren’t ask to consent to the move / raise any objections before going ahead with the change.
Genuine question - you guys must have midweek fixtures throughout the season. Is there any sort of noticeable difference in the performance and / or results you get compared to a Saturday fixture?

WTF?
I was taking the piss out of the United fan's attempt to conflate a friendly commemorating a world record with their moving a league game for such an inconsequential reason. Surely that was obvious?
We weren't even in the same leagus as United in 1985!
Am on you’re side here, I also think it’s ridiculous, and yes it was obvious

I didn't realise that league points were awarded for this friendly fixture.
To try and defend the moving of the game next month, is just as bad as the game being moved

"Because they used to have a different name 100 years ago? What’s all that about?" Dick Campbell rages at SPFL as Arbroath boss goes on rant over Dundee United fixture change
See when United brought a full strength team to Arbroath less than 24 hours after playing a league game so Arbroath could celebrate winning a match 100 years earlier. What's all that about?
A kick about this game

If United tried this on in the Premier league and the opposition objected not a chance it would have been granted.
Also, if it was the other way round

He went to the bench when he came off but DC took him away to the tunnel for a chat before going back to the bench. He was annoyed about something. Not really important I suppose but wondered if anyone in the stand had heard what he was saying.
We seen it from directly opposite, looks like they were pals at the end

A rancid second half.
We had no movement and no width. Toothless and so frustrating to watch.
Thought the two in centre mid were neat and tidy, but not a forward pass between them

Aye, we couldn't fill a bench today! Or any other day.
Would suggest they’re will be teams every week, not filling their bench, by choice

On Scott Allan, Clyde’s board sent an email to owners today saying we were due to loan in a midfielder from a Championship club but injuries for his parent club prevented the player joining us in time for today’s game with the move now expected to be confirmed ahead of the next game.
I have absolutely no idea who this midfielder could be but a few Clyde fans have been looking at team lines in the Championship trying to guess (life’s pretty boring when you’re crap in League 2). Any possibility that Allan could be a shout? No insider info just pure, unadulterated, speculation.
Wonder if it’s Jacobs or Norey?

Better team won
Got segregation right
Ref was atrocious

I think we've been too accommodating to away fans the last few seasons, and it's come to our own detriment. Another permanent segregation fence at the main road side corner flag would do fine, especially for games at this time of year.

When does loan window close?
Notice St Johnstone look like they’re wanting rid of Callum Booth, most teams in this league will have a first choice left back, we train in Perth.
Love to see him come back but maybe ambitious
Wouldn’t mind him, tbf, might be a better option than Mulgrew

Starting to feel this is true.
Arbroath started at 120% and should have picked us off at least 5 times.
Starting to hate Arbroath and it's a pity because I enjoy going up there for away games.
Also when did Gatsby start coming for crosses!
From where I was penalty looked a joke , still to see the TV clips, maybe some Arbroath fans can detail why it was given felt we had no chance from there.
Who says you can’t teach an old dog, new tricks, the coming for crosses is a relatively new thing, he also now run’s and comes out of his 6 yard box
