That decision was one of the worst ever. It was impossible to tell from where he was positioned if it had crossed the line. There was literally a sea of bodies blocking his view. Dundee game, everybody can clearly see the ball has crossed the line. Even with VAR no goal. Sometimes you can't make it up -
Oh ya basa!

A faraway plane that they locked onto and filmed with their on board gun camera skimming just above the ocean?

I take it you didn't watch the Sweden/USA penalties. More misses than hits for both teams. The winning penalty is the most bizarre and hilarious ever.

Was at the USA v Portugal group match held in Auckland. 42,956 attendance. Higher than the opening game featuring NZ. Shame that the game was a 0-0 shitfest. -
I remain open minded. See my previous post re size and age of the universe. Good article trashing anyone that isn't a sceptic. What amuses me about sceptical articles are their alternative explanations are more often than not hilarious. See "the navy pilots could have mistaken it for a faraway plane". Whatever it was, the air traffic controllers sent Fraver and his wingman from their original position to intercept the object picked up on their (carrier's) radar. They locked their gun camera onto it skimming just above the ocean. Faraway plane? If it is secret advanced technology then they certainly like to mess with the U.S. Navy. When Fraver landed the carrier air traffic controllers said they had multiple similar contacts over the preceding weeks. Fraver was angry that they didn't get a heads up from them.

The Phillipines were dug meat except for their goalkeeper. NZ had 16 shots, Phillipines 4. Fouls committed by NZ 9, Phillipines 8. I assume you didn't watch Australia v Ireland where the Irish were brutal in comparison to any other team. NZ totally dominated the second half looked like 90% possession in that half. As for the offside hand and arm can't be offside. She was offside by a wee bit of her head and shoulder. Offside by the letter of the law but not the spirit. It could easily have been 4-1 to NZ. On another note the goalkeeping standard throughout the tournament has been dire. See Phillipines goal against NZ and Ireland goal v Australia

Sorry that just isn't true. The four Navy pilots directly saw objects and locked onto it with their radar. Quote from the hearings. David Fravor, a former Navy commander, said he and three fellow military pilots spotted a white Tic-Tac-shaped object in 2004, hovering below their jets and just above the Pacific Ocean. As he descended to inspect the sighting, he claimed the unidentified aircraft — which he said bore no visible rotors, wings or exhaust — began to ascend and approach his fighter jet. He claimed that the UAP then vanished, only to reappear a few seconds later, but this time it was spotted 60 miles away. Fravor told the committee that the technology he and his team encountered defies logical explanation. "The technology that we faced is far superior to anything that we had," Fravor claimed. "And there’s nothing we can do about it, nothing."

"We are either alone in the universe or we are not, both are terrifying prospects", Arthur C Clarke. Given the size of the universe and that parts of it are 100 million years older than our galaxy, it's a serious stretch to believe that we are alone. In the observable universe there are an estimated 2 trillion galaxies. who kens what's in the unobservable parts. Our galaxy alone has an estimated 100 billion stars. So for me of course there are aliens. Whether they can or have been visiting us is a whole other question.

Don't remember the first game but remember the first season (67-68 Second Division) well. St.Mirren didn't seem to ever lose. Checking on the league table, they did only lose once. Probably lost away which I wouldn't have seen as only went to home games. They won 27 drew 8 and lost 1. Scored 100 goals and conceded 23. Some team! They finished mid table in the First Division the following year.

Big Gordon was an absolute goal scoring machine from corner kicks. 70 still way too young. Thanks for the memories big yin. -
FFS jist wan wheel. I hit a pothole in Renfrewshire that took out two tyres and trashed an alloy. I was no where near death...

Jeff King misses the penalty for Chesterfield that saw Notts County go up. He also made the National League team of the season. Stevie Mallan was hero turned villain in Salford's playoff. Scored a worldie then missed a penalty in the shoot out. His goal is at 9min 50sec. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fGQ3ZRbXj-I -
This channel is good value. This story is one of those that you couldn't make up.

The footy adventures guy did a you tube video on them. In the past four years they have gone from part time to qualifying for Europe. -
