A decade?

It'll be nice to have the option to start going to games again. That said, now that I've put more time/money into other hobbies/interests, I can't see myself getting to as many games as I used to.

The relief of avoiding relegation on penalties has definitely influenced how folk view the squad. There's a post a few pages back that mentions a decent core / nucleus in place for next season and I couldn't disagree more. The team were mostly terrible this season and that core / nucleus was mostly the same. I think there's a fair bit of work required if County don't want to finish in the bottom two again next season. The budget under Mackay is probably larger than most people think. I doubt he's on peanuts and I doubt guys like Purrington and Dhanda were leaving the EFL to come up to the Highlands for a poverty wage.

Malky is a fraud but there's a lot of players who just aren't up to the standard required either (and the occasional good performance from them shouldn't cover up that fact). There's maybe three players in the entire squad who are capable of moving on to a better club in the Premiership.

I picked this up the other day after reading your review. I've not touched the PS4 since finishing God Of War: Ragnarok so I'm looking forward to a change of pace away from mammoth open-world games (although GOW:R was a lot less grindy than both Horizon: Forbidden West and Ghost of Tsushima).
