Wasn’t able to watch tonight but sounds like a decent performance. Presume one of the two left backs played at left mid - Mills?

Adam Brown got a hard time from Airdrie fans. Some of it merited because he's an incredibly frustrating player for a man of his ostensible talent and skill level. Other times not so merited as he'd get it tight for not 'running aboot' or not getting stuck into folk. Will drift in and out of games and from week-to-week but he's definitely a talented player and potential match-winner. Will score a few worldies a season.
Posted my thoughts on big Sean Crighton below. Definitely think he'll be a good bit of business for Stenhousemuir.
Thanks for this - sounds encouraging. Is Brown a wide player?

Of the boys you’ve picked up from us, I’d say Dec is the pick of the bunch. Sits in centre midfield doing the simple things really well, takes a good set piece. He’s a huge loss for us.
Wee Mikey is more of an attacking mid, gives you all the effort & endeavour in the world. Probably needs to kick on a wee bit but has every chance to do so.
Lyon & Mills are very much attacking full backs that rely on recovery pace when getting back. Best going forward - Lyon scored a fair few goals early on last season when used as an inside forward before we brought in Jamie Glasgow & Daz Christie.
Thanks for this - bit difficult to find info on these players elsewhere.
What position is Lewis Bell?

Agree that Muir and Docherty have looked good and will probably start tonight, but I still think our strongest XI has to include McGuigan. He really showed his worth with three goals in three games after the restart.

How did we line up?

This looks like Agent McBride has been busy.
Who is Agent McBride?

When we got promoted in 2017-18 we began the season with a 3-2 home defeat, then a1-1 away draw, then an unexpected win against a former Highland League side. Exactly the same has happened this year. A good omen?

Great result. Was Hopkirk unavailable?

I don’t remember Kieran Anderson at all but he sounds promising. Cook at left back sounds unorthodox though, unless we played with a back three?

Decent result tonight, 1-1 against St Mirren. Anyone know how we lined up?

Conner Duthie hasn't left the club as far as I'm aware. He hasn't signed a new deal yet but then nor has Ryan Watters. I'd be keen to keep Duthie on.
There were also a couple of young lads out on loan last season - Kyle Johnson and Aidan Kemp. No idea what has become of them but I think Johnson's contract has another year to run.

I see Willis Furtado has left Raith Rovers and is yet to sign for anyone. Probably a long shot with our current budget but would be great to see him back - would be worth sacrificing a couple of fringe players to get someone of his quality.

Pleased to get the points here but sounds like the game was honking. Our first half lineup seemed a bit odd - who (if anyone) was occupying the wide midfield positions?
