  1. Don’t want come across all hipster tactical but I felt we caused a lot of our own problems in the cup game by trying to press Celtic when they had free kicks or goal kicks deep in their own half, they played through the press most times and we we were then outnumbered when they were attacking. Would prefer to see us hang back a bit when they are playing out from the back.

  2. After how long and how many f**k ups though?
The SNP will hold power for while in an Indy Scotland, that I can live with.
What I don’t like is them underhandedly hoovering up all the votes in a GE and producing little with it, other than monopolising Scottish politics.

I get that but the way we are controlled by Westminster our votes up here have very little power at present. As you say means to an end got to play the long game here.
  3. My main concern here is that the SNP cannot control the narrative that they are the Indy movement itself.
I’m off the scale in favour of Indy, but I simply cannot vote SNP as a means to an end and no party should ever expect you to in a democracy.

Surely one of the first things that happen when independence is achieved is a Scottish general election then you can vote for who you want
  4. The midfield 3 is just a mistake, I see Alexander is praising Donnelly performance today but in reality other than the goal it was pretty poor. I can understand Tierney coming off the bench but I’m baffled why Slattery is not getting a start given how effective he was before Covid, he did more than the other three had the whole game when he came on. We were just so sluggish for most of the game, dominated possession along with efforts on goal but showed no real urgency. When the above 3 came on we pulled them all over the place and they just ran out of steam. They were well organised but we still made hard work of it given the opposition..

Heard we were hit by a covid outbreak around the time of the winter break maybe slattery was one of the players effected.
  5. Given there's been a lot of chat about what position he plays it was really interesting to see where he fitted in and that we kind of changed shape a bit to accommodate him - it became a sort of 4312 with Tierney just hanging about off two forwards and finding little pockets of space and making late runs.
There were at least a couple of times where a simple square ball would have given him a tap in.

Wee man looked good when he came on. Always looking for the ball and had a few nice touches. Needs to bulk up a bit tho but that will come with time. Looks promising
  6. I think the best thing that can be said is that it was a better ending than the original, not that that would be difficult.

Exactly. Still leaves it open for spin off series as well.
