  1. That pun was completely meant, of course ;)

Pathetic? I think not. People have used their hard-earned money to get to the game tonight and the game has been stopped with a stupid decision. I think they have every right to be angry and complain when the decision was as ridiculous as it was. Bear in mind, that is only one person as of yet that has done that but the point still remains for him.

What a bizarre point to make. Completely cliched views which are just saying, "get on with it, I'm fed up with appealing".

Food for thought, I think. Mabe you and your club will now understand how we felt when you refused to play your fixture with us. (Not same I know, but similar )

    What Goes Round, Comes Round.

    :)

  2. I agree that this constant bickering about the scratched game is pointless, the "right decision" people are never going to convince the "wrong decision" people & vice versa! It's like banging our heads off a brick wall! I wish it was over with to be honest as it's becoming a nightmare. <_<

I was & still am of the opinion that the game should never have been scratched, I think by doing this we dragged another club into our mess & also cost them money & ruined the start of the season for them, I still don't think that the club's explanation for doing this is justified but that is just my opinion & being as stubborn as I am I can't see it the way the rest of my fans seem to.

To Edinburghlivi - if you haven't been able to convince me that your view is right then you have no chance with the people on here & there is no point in going round in circles all the time.

We just have to wait & see what happens at the meeting as there is feck all we can do about it now. :)

Well said. I couldn't have put it better myself.

AT LEAST YOU UNDERSTAND MY REASONS FOR BEING MORE THAN UNHAPPY WITH THE SITUATION AS IT STANDS.

    :)

  3. Why are you taking this view when Spencer Fearn is on our side and wants compensation from the SFL for this shambles? Fair enough, if we'd won the return game I could understand you ES supporters being pissed off at us but we got humped.

When I post on this forum, I speak for myself, not Spencer Fearn. If he is on your side, which I have yet to see evidence of, them I'm afraid Mr Fearn and myself have to agree to disagree on this one.

  4. This thread should be closed and then a new one can be opened should any relevant news come about.

Thats just what you would like, this thread closed, so that everyone can forget about what has happened. Well no way, It should continue until your club is punished for what they did. But will that ever happen, I think not, as Livingston FC seem to be getting away with it, while others are being 'punished' for their actions(Livingston FC). Not your fault I know, but the fault of the football 'hierarchy' who are quick to take action on some, yet appear to ignore others.

  5. You could argue that we should have signed him part-time but with a full-time status anyway, it would have been arguably stupid to do so. The argument that we shouldn't have signed him at all is better.

Quite frankly, we can't which is why we'll be making cuts next year. We were thrown into this situation, quite frankly, with a full-time setup and unable to cancel contracts.

The bills and wages are obviously being paid by the consortium (or are going to be in due course in the former's case) because there are no stories of non-payment, as yet. I think scrutiny is at an extremely high level and if people weren't getting paid, there would be stories about it after the rubbish that went on last year.

Not head in sand, simply tiring going over the same things again and again. I'm actually tempted to say this thread should be closed because of that fact. Any new stories should be in their own threads, in my opinion, as this one has descended into a self-righteous wankfest against our club with shit-stirring and non-news making up the rest of the posts.

Whatever happened to that meeting

    :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Oh dear oh dear.........what blind faith........you truely believe your club has done nothing wrong. :angel
