  1. Interesting wee bit on the Patriots legacy on ESPN Patriots on the brink: A 40-year-old QB, a furious coach and cracks starting to show http://es.pn/2qnREc1 via @ESPN App http://es.pn/app
  2. Gronk suspended for one game, but plans to appeal which is utter nonsense. How many games did Trevethan get at the start of the year?
  3. The Texans can barely say that their scheme is why they aren't giving Kaepernick a proper look. Even if his mobility makes up 60% of his game for the first few weeks, it's still a massive upgrade on the garbage they are shifting their way through. O'Brien will be on his way out soon anyway, losing season with what he's having at QB, or bring in Kaepernick and risk the owner hating every second of it. That's Giants players now rubbishing McAdoo, he'll be gone before the playoffs.
  4. Reportedly on the way to the Patriots as the backup. Not included in the trade due to compensation complications. Patriots taking a bit of a gamble that Brady has plenty in the tank for next season as well.
  5. Great trade for us. Lane was on starter money for being 3rd CB. Jimmy G has been traded to the 49ers for a 2nd round pick. Pretty much a first.
  6. https://twitter.com/dwightfreeney/status/923009202766823424 Bringing in some much-needed veteran pass rush support while Avril is out injured. Hopefully, he has an impact. There is also talk of Lane being shipped to Dallas, and Byron Maxwell rejoining following the Phins cutting him.
  7. Couldn't believe I scrapped past you. Thought Davis and Ryan would have seen you past me. Can I get my trade processed now @Stewbo ?
  8. On top of all this, the trade won't be able to go through as it 'violates a roster maximum' of TEs on @MikeyR20 team.
  9. I suppose, but 17 odd hours prior to a kickoff is reasonable enough time for a trade to go through? It was hardly made an hour before the game begun. I'm just clutching at straws, but as I said even the addition of Martin would boost my chances this week.
  10. If that's the case and ruling, it looks like I'll be taking the loss this week. Whatever happens, I hope that it's agreed that 24 hours is far too long a review period for trades.
  11. Definitely going to be a minefield. The trade is still pending, but the review period is up. For those not in Division One. I, Jimmy Graham Crackers traded for Cooper and Doug Martin, with Fitzgerald, Brate and Aaron Jones going the opposite way. Being on the horrendous 0000-1200 shift at work, I put the offer in at 0300 or so yesterday morning, Bitonio accepted around 0700. 24 hour trade review, Cooper has a field day, I'm potentially short a starting WR/Flex player, with @MikeyR20 opposition having the joy of Cooper playing against him. Seethe I perhaps naively thought I'd be able to get the trade through before kickoff. Cooper would definitely have been taking Fitz's spot, with Cooper being my buy-low target, Martin is also a much-needed addition to running back. I'm not sure if the trade even goes through this week now that one of the players involved has played, as they'll be locked. I've only ever seen trades vetoed for clear collusion, plus with the trade being accepted early morning Thursday, 0700 or something there was time for everyone to make their decision prior to the game. Not too sure what's going to happen now. I actually really need Martin for this week, as my running back situation is short, and after losing OBJ to injury my team is pretty weak. Just need @Stewbo to make a ruling. Can't imagine anyone will be particularly happy with it.
  12. The trade review period has stuffed me, thought the trade would have gone through prior to the game. Cooper getting a TD, and I'll have to stream a WR off the waiver this week.
  13. Patriots will probably sign him. By far the 49ers best and most consistent player of recent years, but unfortunate with injury. Did he not lead the league in tackles 2 years or so ago?
  14. Eagles are completely fine. They've played most their games away from home, and have done very well. They have arguably the best combined offence and defensive lines in football. Otherwise their secondary is bad; made worse by Derby's injury and a committee at running back. Their WR group is hit or miss, but Wentz has sorted his mechanics and isn't afraid to run the ball. Playoffs but they won't be at the superbowl.
  15. La Chargers cut Josh Lambo. Keep Younghoe Koo, who is more known for his trick kicks than field goals. Can't see that one lasting
  16. There was talk Richardson and Lockett were going to be ahead of him on the depth chart. We also have guys like McEvoy and Lawler. Plus I didn't realise how thin we actually are at DT. Should be a decent move. Just very unlike us to trade for defensive players
  17. Even better. We needed experience on the interior with Rubin being our only guy with any experience. Hopefully, means we can get some more sacks and take pressure off the side of the secondary that Sherman isn't playing. Contract year means it's low risk to us as well if he continues his attitude problems.
  18. Jets trade Sheldon Richardson to Seahawks for Kearse and some picks.... Kearse now the Jets #1 receiver. Going to be interesting to see how we rotate Bennett, Avril, Clark and Richardson. Perhaps Bennett to play more in the interior?
  19. Alfred Blue Man Group - Division 1 QB - Marcus Mariota RB - Ameer Abdullah, Christian McCaffrey, Darren McFadden, Jonathan Williams, Jamaal Williams, Danny Woodhead WR - Odell Beckham, Demaryius Thomas, Larry Fitzgerald, Robert Woods, Malcolm Mitchell, Kenny Golladay TE - Cameron Brate, Zach Miller
  20. That's League 1 complete. Absolute hilarity in the first few rounds, the damage that kickers (someone would have picked one 2nd round) and defences could have done might have ended me.
  21. Nope, we're near the end of round 11 in division 1. Only one on Auto-draft
  22. Thielen went before Larry Fitz in Division 1.... Just think about that
  23. Divison 1 is crazy. Rodgers and Carr were both taken in the first 2 rounds
  24. I've got the fear for the division one draft. I haven't done much research, I don't particularly like the scoring changes, and I'm working...
  25. I'd be pretty disappointed if we don't have a heavily rotated squad, for a game that should be treated in the category of preseason or the semi-final of the Renfrewshire cup. It's the perfect opportunity for the fringe players to play in a 'competitive' game. I'd hope we won't see any of the players that played at the weekend in the starting line-up unless we have no-one fit or they require some more minutes.
