Hope you enjoyed Saturday, really wish I'd come through for the game now but didn't take the risk with the weather being dodgy

Nice to meet you today and thanks for taking the time to come over and say hello. Very disappointed by the result although they picked up a bit for much of the second half, there was a complacency about the Vics in the first half after the early sending off; almost as though they just expected to win against 10 men. Will be back soon again, but it's a bugger of a journey. Got a train at 3.55, didn't get into my flat until nearly 7!
Cheers
Dave

Planning on going to the cup tie v Carluke on Saturday week, could you tell me where a good place for a pint before the game, preferably a pub where Vics fans meet?. Last time I went to a Vics game was the Marymass match in 2015 and I went to the Ship, which was fine, but would like a pint in a Vics pub. Thanks for any help, cheers, Dave

Alright Dave, glad you are joining us. There is the Auld Brig, a Wetherspoon pub which is right next to the train station, at the bottom end of the shopping mall(Rivergate centre). We are planning to be there and there is the option of going to the ground and getting a drink in the pavilion. We will be in there at half time anyway. Look out for the Broncos hat and come and introduce yourself.

Hi, notice you gave me a reputation for my comment re the Vics game today. Do you have any idea who the guy was who gave me the scarf? He works in Asda in Ardrossan, I reckon in his mid 50s. I was standing with the Vics fans to the right hand side of the enclosure and thought they were a great bunch. I don't really have a team as I was a Caley fan who fought the merger but I have developed a soft spot for the Vics after attending the Marymass game in 2015. Cheers Dave MacKay

Hi Dave, Tommy here, I think I know who you are talking about as you were standing next to us, we had a great bit of banter going with the Yoker boys who were there as well. I don't know his name but he has been coming to watch us for the last 3-4 seasons. I was in the Broncos baseball hat (orange) and had my tangerine and white scarf on. These are the colours that I grew up with watching the Vics from the late 60's. Only 3 teams played in those colours, Holland , Blackpool and us. Changed to tangerine and black late 80's, early 90's, only because it was costing the club a small fortune to launder the white shorts!! would you believe it, only in the juniors, lol!
Anyway I will pass on your best wishes.
