What is it with completing an unbeaten season in the Scottish third tier that seems to unleash such bitter seethe among the victors?
60 Minutes investigates after these important messages.
It's why we purposely lost one game last season.

The Bartley appointment has set you back at least five years.
You've become a bottom of League One club and the worst full time team in Scotland.
You will be competing with so many other teams for players and will most likely be at the bottom or near the bottom of the list for most players.
As with all struggling teams, attendance will dip, meaning less cash for signings, pushing you further down the list for potential signings.
In your favour is that it's not a ridiculously hard league to finish top four. Despite being down the list for signings it doesn't mean you won't make any, so with some luck you could put a run in.
Obviously much of this will depend on your next manager though. Who do you reckon you could get? Lee Bullen?

Joel Nouble and Bruce Anderson* out of contract at Livingston.
Two guys I'd be very pleased to see as Pars players next season.
However they won't be short of bids, including from Livingston and possibly from some Premiership clubs.
*Enjoyed his brief loan spell at us a few years ago.

It’s amazing what crowds can do for glorified house shows.
Haha yup.
If tonight was in front of a US crowd it would have been meh, even if the wrestling was at the standard it was tonight.
A hot crowd lifts these middling shows so much.
Vince McMahon yet again proves that he's a fucking moron for not doing this year's ago.

Want to agree but showing an ignorance of some belting national anthems. Check out Jamaica.
Fair, couldn't tell you what that one is! I only know via football and I can recall the 98 anthems!

can you ever restore it or is this NEWCO PPV Thread 2012?
I think if you ask a mod they can restore it. If so we can just merge or delete this thread.

French National anthem is the best in the world. Only Italy can come close.

We can use this one for now. Should the other be restored I'm sure a mod can merge them. If not I'll just edit the thread title.
Anyway, this crowd is just one of many reasons why Vince McMahon was a fucking idiot for not having PPVs outside North America. Even a pish B level one back in the day (like when Cena defended against heel R-Truth) would have been so much better than what we got and would have energised the product.

Doesn't everyone do that, by and large?
I think most do.
Unsure who they all think it fools, unless they claim a potential audience for sponsors.

Our attendance figures are inflated. They're based on season ticket sales and walk ups, but count all season ticker holders even if they don't turn up.

See you next season lads.
Is the 'nightclub' under the away stand still a thing?

Cove done that and he struggled. Injuries have done him I think, and he never understood the game well enough to adapt.
He's still surprisingly quick. There were a couple of times for us he showed flashes of the player he was, but he mostly played as a wing back and was asked to do a lot of defensive stuff, which isn't his game. He needs to be an attacker who runs at folk

Hibs should be having a good look at Ian Murray and Rhys McCabe for their next manager.
They could also do worse than putting in a bid for Simon Murray. They should also ask Millwall about a loan for Nisbet.

Probably more a Stan Harris/Geoff Brown decision. Not sure he'll come into this situation and make such a big decision against their advice.
He's out of contract and we've got 4 strikers already contracted next season (ignoring relegation release clauses), he'll be away IMO.
O'Halloran was finished when he left us. Not sure why you signed him.
O'Halloran hasn't been as bad as some of our fans claim, but he hasn't been great either. The biggest issues with his signing is that he simply doesn't fit in the preferred formations of McPake.
If someone at this level played his as a winger he'd still be effective.

Really? Where did you hear that? Would be pleased with that bit of business!

Is Kane still under contract? If so you might want to consider keeping him should you come on down. He's fired in a few goals in not that many games and has been involved in a few more. He's shown he's very much a pretty good player for this level.
We'll swap you. Kane for O'Halloran.

Most, if not all, teams in the Championship will consider that they have a shot at the title. Only if a second League 1 team comes up would they be the ones who probably wouldn't.
However, the Championship is definitely a significant step up from League 1. You'll be up against (for the most part) much higher quality and standard in most games. You (usually) can't get away with some performances in League 1 where you grind out a win or draw. In saying that though of course Falkirk will make signings (they've already made one) and have a different squad. A long way of saying that they could challenge for the league, playoffs, mid table or be fighting to avoid 9th. Next season will surely be the most open Championship in many years.
Anyway, whilst we finished 6th, we were only 3 points from finishing 9th. With a fully fit squad for most of the season could we have finished top four? Possibly. However it wouldn't have been enough to challenge for the title. I'm still worried that we won't make the big chances needed.
Don't want to hear the utter pish about the board not supporting McPake. We made 13 signings this season. When did we last make that many? In addition it was reporter that we tried to sign others, most notably Wotherspoon and Brophy.

@DA Baracus - you could have had a whole range of props for portable deviance if you'd only shown a bit more ambition.
I'd be interested in a collaboration.

Think Big Country can sum up this season best:
"Another promise fallen through
another season passes by you"
Glad to see the end of it and it's good to have a break. By the time it comes around again we'll be missing it!

Bloody hell. Could sub McMillan off later 2nd half to rest him after that error, but we dont have any other right backs
Take it that wee delay for the restart was a wee mini pitch invasion? Dunno why the commentary team didnt mention it, took a wee while.
Wasn't shown on TV either. I wondered what was happening so your post explains it.

Fire the person in charge of music at Tannadice. They just blared, at utterly maximum volume, a song (Song 2) when Dundee United scored and kept playing it for ages, rather than letting the fan noise build an atmosphere.
I bet if you asked them why they wouldn't have an answer other than some mumbled pish about 'atmosphere'.
Why die Scottish clubs start with goal music? Seems to me it was total bandwagon shite. Who actually likes it? Who is it for?

No, the poster was right.
Rangers went bust. They died. They cannot go bust again because they are dead.

Make a team of folk who played for you!
However said players must still be active and must currently play in the SPFL and, of course, can't currently play for your team.
Despite starting this thread I'm actually struggling a bit for us in some positions! Would have had Allan McGregor in goal but he retired last year.
Going for a 4-4-2 here:
Goalie: Harry Sharp*
Defence: Kerr McInroy - Calum Fordyce - Euan Murray - Lewis Mayo
Midfield: Dom Thomas - Nat Wedderburn - Rhys McCabe - Steven Lawless
Strikers: Bruce Anderson - Lawrence Shankland
Almost certainly forgetting loads of players here. Also have quite a few players out of position but in a 'generally' similar role.
*Only goalie I could think of. He might be decent but he was terrible for us.
