The madness of football…..everything in my logical head as a St Mirren fan knew a scudding for Dundee was our best result and yet there I was hoping for a last minute winner for them. Congratulations on your result tonight

I think at the time when he signed for us, he had offers from clubs in Europe. I'm sure one day soon he would like to return to Cyprus and settle with his family.
He would go with nothing but my best wishes in that situation......

No but if you don’t offer the money he will go to a rival perhaps. I’d imagine that one of our proven top performers week in week out should be entitled to think with his efforts he deserves a decent deal
That's the point surely, he already has a decent deal. Every club at our level has to have a realistic ceiling to what they can offer and what they can afford to pay, if he is already at that limit then that's just life for a provincial club. Incidentally, I think he has been our Player of the Year and would love him to stay at the club.

Don’t blame them. Waste of time him being here. I’m pretty sure lending clubs don’t want their players to be bit part and given Robbo already knew the player and what he was capable of, I’m not sure why he resigned him if he didn’t really intend playing him.
I reckon you should only really take a loan player if you are pretty certain he’s going to be a starter more often than not.
Robinson singled out Thierry Small last night in his after match interview saying that having such a good player at the club meant that Tanser had to play to the highest standard to keep his place in the team.....my gut feeling is that he already knew he was on his way out and was thanking/praising him for his time here.

Last weekend's game was a total farce due to the weather. Forget it, there's nothing to learn from that one. Previously Nahmani had looked sharp when provided with appropriate service from Ayunga and the midfielders. Stick with this line-up upfront, I'm confident they will gel and the goals will come.
Weather looking even worse this weekend.......

I've never heard of an under contract player sitting out the last year of a deal after club gets relegated.
I think there were a few months when he wasn't paid on time etc (along with other players), the other players were allowed to leave or were sold on for smallish fees, Southend were apparently looking for a substantial fee for him and things deteriorated from there.

We are fan owned, that was never going to (nor was it intended to) lead to us being fan run. Folk seem to be constantly making this mistake.
I agree with most of that but it wouldn't be too far-fetched to hope that someone representing the "fan owning shareholding group" would be living and spending time in and around the community in which they represent (I know that SMiSA members are spread far and wide but I think you'll understand the general point). My desire would be best person for the job but understand other's concerns.

Certainly can’t argue with that.
Equally I doubt you could argue with…
Played - 3
Played well - 1
Played dugshite - 2
Not too be contrary TPAFKA, bit I’d say we were okay away to Motherwell for the most part…….it’s sometimes more about style of play, we give up lots of possession in area’s that don’t really hurt us.

Thing is he always had the attitude, but he is clearly happy with us.
It should not be scoffed at how capable a player he is too.
He's doing better in CB than many, including me expected, but his versatility and commitment are huge assets.
I'm sure, when he came back to us, that SR said he was brought back mostly to be a CB but can play DM. It may be he's so comfortable there because SR has recruited players that compliment him in that system.....nobody is gong to brush Gogic aside and you need at least one CB like that.

He only had 1 save to make the rest were routine catches you would expect any goalkeeper to make.
As Antrin said over on B&WA, what a save it was.....add to that he has to marshall, saved the free-kick, claimed almost every cross into his box and comfortably dealt with everything else that came his way I think it's fair enough.

Imagine hating your own country that much, they are absolutely embarrassing themselves but nothing all that new there.

Issues with flights?
All the jet 2 flights to England were delayed last night as well
BA were a nightmare yesterday too ..... 30 minutes delay from Larnaca followed by a 90 minute delay to the last flight to Glasgow, got home at 02:00 this morning having left Limassol 15 hours earlier!! Still a great trip though

Gayfield, similar in position to Pittodrie with it being right on the North Sea coast, so the wind can howl through, but at least Pittodrie is big enough to provide some shelter.
Neither venue even close in the freezing stakes for me....Gretna and/or East Fife away in the cups were the two coldest I remember with an honourable mention to the Falkirk game at Fir Park

Is it the weather ? Will we just put it down to that. Or is it the time of the month ? Ether way thank you for your contribution.
You’re having a nightmare IoBS, a deep breath before posting or even just thinking about what you’ve typed before pressing send might help but you’re coming across as a bit of an arse recently.

It’s not an area I know particularly well, but most of the well known pubs with an affiliation to either side are next to either ground. The city centre pubs tend to more neutral. If they were showing an English game over a Scottish one then I think that’s the issue rather than the team involved.
I have had enjoyed a cracking wee pub called The Balmore Bar when I've been visiting both Dundee grounds (my daughter is at Dundee Uni so normally make a weekend of it), I couldn't tell you whether it had an affiliation to either club but well worth a visit and very welcoming to away supporters.

This^^^. Taylor could have got back up quicker after winning the 1st duel but Goga as he was with the other goal, totally unaware of the striker, leaving them in space.
Add to that Tanser not getting anywhere near out to "his" man (you can see O'hara shouting at him) and it was just a bad goal from a few perspectives....

It's possibly down to how they arrive at final decisions once the on-field ref is sent to the monitor.......I know the arguments against it but if the discussions were heard aloud (rugby style) then it might have a baring on getting to the correct decision (not that mistakes don't happen there either).
