  1. I'm expecting a chastened side, with maybe a change or two in defence, and probably a more cautious approach. But for that inexplicable collapse I'd have expected a win. Now it depends on how we respond to that 22 minute calamity.
  2. Billy Big Baws coming from a Dunfermline fan I've told you how your game went. If you're in denial Dunfermline couldn't beat the relegation favourites after all the hysteria about the fantastic team thats been assembed.
  3. Funnily enough, and maybe ironically, Morton fans were saying the same thing about Ugwu.
  4. Exactly what you've been uggesting, that I could somehow be responsible for how the game went. Still, we played an ex Premiership team off the park for 70 minutes, and still should have scored another two or three after that, but you're still quiet on how your dream team did at Greenock....
  5. Matters beyond my control. However, if we'd been seven goals up before we took off our most effective players it would not have been an unfair reflection on our play. But remind us how did you do against the relegation favourites?
  6. I did gleefully comment on relegation favourites Morton's equaliser against the team that should have been handed the title before kick off. PS Grant 228 : Absolutely no one cars pal x
  7. As bad and infuriating as yesterday was we need to take that as a sharp lesson in a positive way and correct the errors in tactics and attitude which caused it, without losing sight of how good we actually are when we play.
  8. That's bad enough, but besides that he's a complete erse.
  9. Ugwu's a strange one. Some of us think he should have been kept because we've left ourselves with midget forwards but no one will miss him otherwise. He's good at holding and bringing others into play, ruffles defenders and scores the odd goal. He's missed more sitters than he's scored. He might come good for you guys tho . PS - he's well remembered for scoring a cracker against Dunfermline in the play-offs - Here's hoping for a repitiion
  10. Now that the teams have sorted their squads and fans are showing their confidence or lack of thereof here is my revised predictions: (but like others I may reveal a little bit of "unconscious bias"): Raith Rovers Morton Arbroath QOS Ayr Partick Accies Kilmarnock Inyerneesh Dunfermline
  11. Great to hear the perennial bragging about how you're going to win the league before it's started, followed by the inevitable "get that c**t out" when reality strikes around January.
  12. I too think Queen of the South will surprise a lot of folk. I see them well above the relegation struggle and could challenge for the top 4.
  13. It might be better if you addressed those who raised the issue.
  14. ie Lets get back to the football, but not before the anti racist racists we have the last word on racism. But lets see who's defensive and racist: So, if Blaize is compaired to Marv because they're both big guys with a robust playing style – THAT'S RACISM! But if it's pointed out that say, Kai Kennedy and Dan Armstrong, who are both slight guys and have a quick tricky style of play, that's NOT racism. Why do “unconscious” or “cognitive biases” come into play in one scenario but not in the other identical scenario? Ah I get it, you've got to point out that the first involve black people. Who's unconsciously biased and racially motivated? Can't you see that it's people like you who are racist, so brainwashed by an arrogant assumption of moral superiority that you're blind to simple fact and logic? You believe the generalisation “that black players are much more likely to be associated with concepts such as strength, pace and athleticism”, but it's subtly racist to make that observation - we need to have a “hope of tackling and changing the generality”. So you claim these racial characteristics exist but if they pertain to black people we are to deny they exist or we're racist ! YOU'RE RACIST FFS This next bit is what in Burger King is known as a Whopper, with cheese: Standing “shoulder with RATM” on the current matter, it's your “general experience that those who react angriest and are quickest to dismiss any such possibility are the ones least likely to have understood the nature of the problem“:: RATM: “NO! f**k! OFF! BLACK PLAYERS DON'T IMMEDIATELY HAVE TO BE COMPARED TO OTHER BLACK PLAYERS! FOR f**k SAKE! WE ARE NOT DOING THIS AGAIN! The blind hypocrisy is boundless.
