Perhaps the most racist post I have ever seen on P and B.  Disgraceful.

Nonsense. It's either a life or death public health issue, or it isn't. Most with left-leaning political beliefs will bend over backwards to avoid any criticism of minorities who refuse vaccination, but will happily put the boot into white "refuseniks".

I know it's in Germany but do any of you homeworkers have a spiral staircase or possibly a loose carpet to fall over between the bedroom and the home office - will homeworkers have to invest in those Slippery Floor signs?

Companies should be allowed to put cameras in every room of their employees homes to make sure there's no fraud taking place.

It's quite hard to imagine the mindset of someone so selfish that they demand that everyone in eevery country in the world should be kept under strict restrictions to keep them personally safe.

I'd put good money on most of them being fatties. For the first time in their lives, they get to moralize and point the finger at others.

How do you even make vaccines mandatory? Send the vaccine gestapo round and jail everyone who doesn’t want it?

I have visions of people being pinned to the ground and forcibly injected, while their neighbours stand on their doorsteps clapping.

We’ve both been feeling lousy for a couple days but just put it down to bad cold or flu.

Anyway, the point is that, hopefully this is what Covid is going to look like from now on to triple vaccinated and flu jabbed people.

This is what it's looked like for the vast majority of people who have caught the virus since the get-go.

Vaccine passports could be extended if needed – Dowden

    08:03 , Lamiat Sabin

The government will look at extending the use of vaccine passports if there is a “public health need” to do so, Culture Secretary Oliver Dowden has said.

He told Sky News the government “want as few restrictions for as short a period as possible”.

But, he added if the Covid outbreak worsens, ministers will consider requiring vaccine certification to attend more venues to “protect” the public.

How long until I need to use a passport to access my local M&S Foodhall? I'm guessing March 2022.

It absolutely is a failure of the government to not combat the misinformation and brain dead pish about 5g and all the rest.

I don't recall ever hearing anyone seriously talk about that kind of thing in the real world. It seems to be a very vocal minority of loons on social media.

At least the UK press conferences try to explain things with graphs and data, albeit I sometimes feel that it is out of date. I’ve given up watching the SG press conferences as they tell you nothing and the questions I’m bursting to ask never get brought up by the Scottish media who are worse than useless.

Here's the thing. Have you ever heard either the Scottish or British gov come out and say "Hey! You! Yeah you, Mr/Mrs 80 year old! I know this shit is a little scary, but if you catch covid, statistically, you're going to survive! Yeah, that's right! Believe it or not, the majority of you will be ok!". Nope, all you get is Sturgeon on TV everyday droning on and on about X number of people have tested positive in the previous 24hrs, and , sadly, X number have died. The government have shat the bed when it comes to messaging, and I wouldn't shed a tear if some of them were hanged for the trauma they've caused to many members of our society.

A bit short sighted, the quicker they get done the quicker everything fully opens up.

It could be classed as shortsighted, but when it comes to opening up you're moving the target onto the young from where it should be – the government. They're the ones keeping restrictions in place until the groups who statistically don't get ill, and don't die, get vaccinated.
