  1. I’m annoyed at myself to be slightly disappointed in a win but that second half was abysmal. Was it fitness? Was it Rankin? Was it the ICT changes? Most likely the second option.

Inverness were there for the taking in that first 45 and that’s likely going to cost us. If the ref gives that penalty (v high chance O’Hara or Henderson miss it tbf) the tie is dead and buried at 3-0.

    Absolutely.

It's an established FACT that because of a talented crop 30 years ago, all Man U lads are automatically the best young players in Europe.

Any names in this I’d know?

Usually a team like Luton will provide a memorable game or two even if they do eventually get relegated, but I'm struggling to think of any moments they've had all season. Maybe the draw against Liverpool?

Going 3-0 up against Bournemouth in a first half and still losing. That was when I knew their goose was officially cooked.

Lyness our goalie for next year? You’re taking the piss.

You’ll note that I said if we don’t go up. If we go up then yes a new keeper is badly needed.

However if we stay down Lyness is fine. He’s probably on relatively cheap wages, Falkirk have shown this season you don’t need an outstanding keeper to win this league just a semi-competent one (or two in their case).

The only thing I can discredit Lyness for is that his kicking/distribution is horrendous.

  6. It’s hard to be too critical when we’ve won but we made hard work of that.

Tumilty was great. Our second goal was a fantastic piece of play, I’m about 90% the ball went out for a throw but it was close. I also thought Lyness played well a good audition to get a gig for us next season if we don’t go up.

Very poor defending to allow Alloa an equaliser.

The negatives being Dylan McGowan again, unless Kilday had a knock it was criminal for him to be the one to come off over McGowan. Sammon had McGowan on toast the full 2nd half. Williamson not coming out for second half was a nice surprise.

So does Rankin get any credit yet? He’s done fantastically well to get Hamilton to the playoff finals. Whatever the outcome there he’s done well to get to the final.

He gets credit for trying his best to throw away todays game, is that enough for you?

Boys, could we possibly keep Cian Newbury for next season as well if you aren't going to use him?

He's a class act. 18-years-old and totally unphased last night by a really competitive and extremely physical game. Which he largely bossed from central midfield. I thought he looked the part at centre-half, but it turns out he's even better in midfield. We've got two fairly solid League Two operators in that position (Ryan Blair and Blair Malcolm) who can't get a sniff because of Newbury's performances.

Our owner has said he will be a squad player for us next season regardless of what league we’re in. I’d say IF we go up though that’s probably a load of shite and he’ll go out on loan, probably to a Kelty or similar level so you better get through the play offs if you want him.

  9. Can’t disagree with much already said the game of two halves etc.

Another week of watching Ben Williamson stink out the place and McGowan’s clown car defending at the back.

Would love to see them both drop out for Saturday but that won’t happen.

Cant really blame Scott Martin for his reaction at getting subbed Id be raging if those two morons in the dugout were my managers.

We had 8  yes 8 first team players  out then , got a man sent off and lost our best player first half ,

    had midfield players in defence

its no wonder that we lost

M8 we played Reegan Mimnaugh at left back ffs, clearly a piss take and still trounced Alloa.

  11. That was enjoyable aside from the obvious pre-match scripting of finishing with 11 academy players on the park. Do Kelty have a case for match fixing because of that? Not for me to say, but yes.

Good to see Hastie finally do something but I think the sign him up chants are a bit premature.

Hopefully nothing serious for Longridge as I’d much rather him ahead of Hendrie in the upcoming meaningful games.
