Spartans are a joke club so I hope we pump them about 40 nil, but we're at the mercy of Stevie Farrell's tombola team selection and negative tactics, so who knows. Probably be a draw.

Ultimately, whomsoever the Trust person on the DFC board is will have absolutely zero impact on stadium size or the league the club occupies. These are all just empty words to try and get votes, but ultimately carrying out these promises is nigh on impossible. Maybe getting better electronic payment terminals is possible, but most of the other suggestions aren't things a trust nominee to the board would have the power or ability to provide. They can suggest things, but when the answer comes back "no money for that" or "we'll look into it" then that's where the matter dies.
I agree entirely with your post here Pete, but I've greenied you solely for the use of the word "whomsoever", which brought a smile to my face in a world where most folk appear to be illiterate.
It's probably my age. (Yours too).

Just booked 2 weeks in Cologne 13th to 27th (covering all of the group stages). Hotel is 15 min train ride outside the centre.
Flight prices have increased a fair bit since last week. I'm Glasgow to Cologne via Stansted (EasyJet then Ryanair).
I'm planning to travel to matchday locations for Scotland games unless they're evening games 4 hours away.
Cologne is hosting 2 party zones. One in the Old Town and one on the other side of the river .
Cologne is good striking distance for Gelsenkirchen, Dortmund, Dusseldof and Frankfurt. A bit of a PITA for Hamburg, Berlin, Leipzig and Munich right enough.

In other news, I see the sad story that former Son Eddie Annand is battling an inoperable brain tumor.

Broomhill have started making signings though.

I see on Twitter that the Broomhill players haven't been paid.
Ominous?

I was at the big tent in Glasgow Green for the Brazil game in 98.
I'd just taken two steps from the bar when we were awarded a penalty.
Pints. Fuckin. Everywhere.
Just had to turn round, go back to the bar and re-order.
Good times!

Basically this. He said Miller was telling him to get up, back, to the side etc so he told him to fck off. Of course they focused on him getting his hair dyed as well
It was Alex Miller (Craig Brown's assistant) he was talking about. not Willie Miller.

Already buzzing to get the beers opened on the train Saturday morning, and getting to the bowling club, to then allow myself to sober up enough so I can get a carry out for the train back home.
