I feel like i'm stuck in limbo on the second heist, so looking for some help....
I chose the offshore option, so went to the dock and released the sub before taking it ashore and parking it undercover. Since then i've had no prompts for this mission, switching between the characters is only offering stranger missions/random encounters. I've returned to their safe-houses, tried calling one another etc but nothing is working.
I have the FIB 'B' icon on the map, but when i explore i can't find any trigger point. However, i don't think this is related to the second heist.Edit 2: Found Dave and triggered the first FIB missionI tried going back through the thread, but after 10-15 pages i couldn't see anyone with the same issues. Cheers for any help!

^ True - the tour cycle for TTAOE and The Blackening was ridiculous! I think they may have played Glasgow 3 times in support of each album (twice at Barrowlands, and Download @ Glasgow Green for TTAOE, and at the SECC for Black Crusade tour, and supporting Slipknot & Metallica?)
Edit: a quick google shows they also played Carling Academy in 2007, and O2 academy 2010! Those guys must hate the sight of each other spending that much time on the road.

While Machine Head are a big act in Europe, I don't believe they command a similar status in the US. No idea what sort of money they take home on an annual basis, but i wouldn't imagine they are living it up by any means.
You're right that Adam and MH parting company was nothing to do with financial issues, and that it was down to personal issues with Robb. The two of them had been seeing a 'therapist' for 5 years plus to try work things out, but i think that relationship had ran its course after close to 30 years.
I also read that Mark Hunter said Chimaira lost money on their last tour! You go on LinkedIn and you find guys like Dallas Coyle and Jim LaMarca having to side line their musical interests for financial security.
Also expecting this to become more common....

I need help....
My notebook no longer detects my cd/dvd drive. It's a Samsung NP355V5C-A0EUK, and is Windows 8.
I tried this which initially worked and detected the cd in the drive, but it then disappeared after 2mins.
I've tried various hints and tips and got nowhere.
I'm not 100% on what i was looking for, but on the BIOS screen it shows two SATA ports, one listed the hard drive, and the other stated "not installed" - i'm guessing this is the cd/dvd drive?

Machine Head and bassist Adam Duce have parted ways. The split is amicable, and Machine Head would like to wish Adam the best with his current and future endeavors. The band will continue on for the time being as a three-piece and have begun the writing process for their follow-up to 2011's "Unto The Locust". A late 2013 release is projected.
I guess it shouldn't be too surprising given previous revelations that Adam and Robb weren't getting on, and had been trying to work through problems to save the band. Good luck to him with whatever he does - he should give Lombardo a call! New MH album late 2013 would be awesome, and hopefully the new guy will be a good fit.

What browser is it? Have you tried using a different one? You could set the browser to always check for a new version, rather than using a cached version, if that is the problem.
It was Firefox, and I have yet to try another browser. However, following your second point I found some info on changing the cache settings in the about:config screen, as the GUI wasn't giving me any options (that I could see anyway).
I'll give it a try and see how it goes, cheers.

I got a new laptop in November, but i'm constantly having to clear the cache (sometimes every 30mins) as the formatting of various websites goes to shit.
Any ideas what causes this, and what a better fix would be than just clearing the cache?

First video I can think of that doesn't feature a performance based section. It will be censored beyond recognition by MTV, Kerrang et al, so a big decision by band and Roadrunner to make that the final edit.

Anyone using the nike+ sensor on a pair on non-nike+ trainers?
I fancy trying it out to offer some motivation in setting goals/tracking runs,but i'm not sure what calibration issues i'd face using it strapped onto the laces of my asics.
Do you calibrate the sensor with every run, or just calibrate it prior to first use and then you're good to go?
As a complete novice I'm not looking at shelling out on nike+ trainers or a garmin GPS watch.

Would definetly recommend everyone give it a listen - for fans of de la soul, ATCQ etc

The King of Kong: A Fistful of Dollars (2007)
Documentary following Steve Wiebe attempting to defeat the high score for the arcade game Donkey Kong held by gaming supremo Billy Mitchell since 1980.
Billy Mitchell holds high scores for various arcade games, and is celebrated as a bit of a god in the gaming community. He comes across as a smug twat, and isn't shy of reminding us how awesome he is.
Steve Wiebe is presented as a nearly man - talented in many areas, but never achieving the success he dreamed of. When he is laid off from his job, he decides to go for the top score on DK to keep him busy and set himself a goal.
Film does a great job of having you root for Wiebe and have him crush Mitchell's high score. Definitely recommend sticking on your lovefilm/netflix list if you're looking for something to watch.

Released on 20k bail ooooft.
It was reported as $200K - Randy's annual income.
However, there are now stories saying it is full of conditions such as not being released for next 10 days, having to stay in the country, providing a fixed address etc.
They've had 2 years to prepare the case against him but have yet to charge him? Sounds like he'll be back home in the next week.

Latest I see is that worst case is a 5-10yr prison sentence, however I can't see how they could pin this guys injuries on on Blythe.

It's still a bit sketchy but from what I read, fan jumps on stage, randy pins him to the floor and carries on singing (see image below), then pushes the guy off the stage and he landed with quite a thud. The rough translations from Czech sites seem to suggest that the guy died 2 weeks later - if true, it would surely make it difficult to pin on this incident?
Most surprised that we didn't hear anything about this incident until now.
