  1. Lot if folk seem to be missing out Armstrong.....

Scotland captain in 5 years time (my bold prediction).

I included him, but I'd say Mulgrew, Wallace or McArthur for captain depending where their careers take them over next 3/4 years!

  2. Judging by players who have been reasonably involved at international level already, by 2018/2020 I reckon we will be picking from

    GK - C. Bell, D.Marshall

    DF - D.Wilson, G. Hanley, C.Mulgrew, L.Wallace, P.Dixon, P. Hanlon

    MF - R.Snodgrass, J McArthur, B.Bannan, G.Dorrans, B. MacKay, F. Fyvie, J. Forrest, S.Armstrong, J.Murphy, L. Stevenson

    FW - T.Watt, L. Giffiths, J.Rhodes, S.Fletcher, D.Goodwillie, J. Russell, S.Naismith, I. Feruz, D.McGeough, M.Phillips

Really hope we uncover some goalkeepers and defenders over next 2/3 years. I think midfield and forward options look good although most of these guys will be wrong side of 30 come 2020!

  3. Going to see 'Chas and his band' at the ferry on Saturday night. Should be a right old cockney knees up, Dave recently retired but Chas continues with all the old hits.

My mates band are supporting them and for the bass player I'm sure this is the highlight of his career, opening for one of his hero's!

  4. I have the misfortune of working Christmas and New Year time so my cars are well defrosted and parked sensibly, but early this morning as I embark on a weeks holiday I had to chuckle. The little Merc and the van that have sat in our residents only car park (not residents) through the holidays both got stuck in the ice/snow and couldn't get out for around an hour. The van needed pulled out and the wee Merc had to get his BMW pal to come help. My duvet has never felt so cosy warm.

This is great fun there is a big deep frozen bit in our car park and all the folk that dump their cars to goto shop/church are getting stuck. I was over at the shop and on the way back I warned an old boy in a Focus about it, he still proceded to park there and yes he got stuck, brilliant. Years of not getting a space in my own car park are being paid back! Old fool. :P:D:lol:
