Not been on the site for a week so the Kerr situation was totally news to me, though after seeing his inexplicable terrible play against Hearts I do wonder how much of this has been engineered by him. If this is the case which now seems likely then good luck to his next team and good riddance.

It was me. His contract at Raith was only to the summer and he was never going to stay as he has another club set up. I really can't say anymore than that as it's not my place.
People who've known me on P&B, QOS mad and the prior message boards will know that I'm not one to talk shite or create a made up rumour. Time will reveal his destination!

They got the money in for the first game so why don't they make it free for the repay of the abandoned match. Appreciate there are some overheads for the 2nd match but rather than ares around with vouchers and spend time matching up ticket numbers just take the slight hit. Could always increase the parking charge.

Don't begrudge any of the players a few beers. After a display like that I would do the same. Given the nature of the performances at the moment though I think they would have been wiser to stay out of the town centre or Dumfries altogether.
Speaking to a couple of he rugby pros from Glasgow and can't quite remember if they said it was part of the contract or if it was voluntary but none drunk during the playing season, understand can't quite compare 2 nd level football team to Glasgow Warriers but shows the diff in professionalism and attitude to fitness.

I only find out tit bits of info! I knew he was going to Sweden before it was public and that he really enjoyed his time at Palmerston but he hated the drive down and, if he had stayed in Scotland, that a club closer to Glasgow was his preference.
I thought we trained in Glasgow.

I think its fairly simple over young Atkinson. Queens don't want another expensive ( in terms of wages) goalkeeper on the books if all he is doing is warming the bench. They are willing to take the gamble on young Jim being on the bench, with the worst case scenario being that he will have to fill in as cover for 30 or 40 minutes if Antell gets injured during a match. If the injury is serious and Antell was going to be out for a while then they would seek another keeper on an emergency loan until he was fit again.
Simples.
Eh? But is that not the whole point we've just signed a new goal keeper on loan, or did I dream it.

Antell was fine, he kept us in the game and wasn't at fault for any of the goals. The omnishambles in the centre of defence is both Higgins and Dowie's doing.
Might well be right but i'm pretty sure the Robinson would have kept at least one (2nd out) and maybe 2 out. Think the importance of losing Robinson will evident throughout this season, and hes a vey hard act to follow for Antell.

Disappointed that he set his level as low as Kilmarnock. Yes they are a bigger team at the moment but the future doesn't look too rosie for them. I think if he doesn't get this then he'll be after nearly anything so would be glad to get rid of him now and get someone in we can depend on for the difficult season ahead. Feel he has let his players down, could understand if it was one of the better or bigger Scottish teams or an English champioship side.

Good decision by Carmichael, not sure he 's ready for the Premier and a season in the first will do him good. Thought sevco may have went for him as he's prob better than any of their current team.

Training starts tomorrow, 5 of last years first team signed up as well as a former player (though I don't think he played with any of the other 5). Also think a few of last years 19's are signed up.
