Watched the mini training game today at the fun day, was serious stuff from the squad players not many of yesterdays squad were involved, the two trialists were and looked for good. Costa is very quick a decent physique and can use both feet exeptionally well, good link up play and scored some exceleant goals too. The other lad had a man bun in his heed!! Again quick, good skill and kept the ball well and constantly on the move to lose his marker! Spoke briefly to costa, welcomed him to kirkcaldy etc, and he thanked me for that and says he is hopefully of a deal early this week, and hopefully get some real game time tuesday.! The fact he knows abou tuesdays game and their involvement today may tell a decent story.! They could be the answers we are looking for moving forward
Wow got enough cliches in there ?

11 is Mark QuinnGood wee article in this week's Fife Free Press about Andy Leigh's induction into the Hall of Fame. Quick question, in the photo of Andy with the '94 team, I recognise all but the guys wearing the number 10 and number 11 tops. Who are they?

He's been constantly getting back to defend the whole game tonight..
Perhaps he wants to do it for Rangers ?
Perhaps tackling back for wee Raith was beneath him ?

Yeh your right it was, anyone remember the game against Falkirk in 95, We were 2-0down, pulled a go back and Falkirk got a penalty. Keeper saved it (was it lez fridge? ) we went on to win 3-2 with robbie raeside scoring the winner. It secured our status that year. I remember it well as I was in the Sunday post when robbie was celebrating going mental ????. I miss those times
Great game, Geddes did a last man tackle on Ally Graham. Stayed on the pitch and them saved the pen.
Secured our status is one way of putting as we eventually made 6th (I think)

Nah, not having that. Black is pond life in all walks of life, not just on the football pitch. The type who'd have been in and out of jail if he wasn't a footballer, and to be fair is very lucky he hasn't been anyway.
Add in the fact he's absolutely fucking rotten I'll be beyond livid if we sign him.
Did you ever see Shaun Dennis play ?
Club captain and was frequently in bother with the law.

I
I see your Ian Black and raise you one Jamie Hammil.
We seem to be forgetting Dave Bowman

Would rather see us play Bates, than get another ''Perry' on a short term deal

Seems to take the odd bit of stick but that's outstanding consistency by anyone's standards.
Whilst it's impressive, didn't Criag Wilson have similar stats ?
Seems to be rare for a (Raith) right back to be chopped and changed

Hooper was sitting with the players at Central Park on Saturday. I'd imagine he'll play against Lochee if that game's still on and they'll take it from there.
Did he leave 10 minutes early and in a rage ?

Talk that mcgurn left in a rage prior to full time. Laurie ellis joining him in leaving within 10 mins after full time whistle..
Rifts amongst the camp due to mcgurn not wanted by mckinnon from day one due to his own preferences and laurie signed as a player coach and are both a waste of a wage.
Why would you leave in a rage nearly 2 hours after you were told you will not be playing ?

We had a shocking preseason in 1992, so no panicking from me.

In former wee-team player news, Jojo Cardle has returned to the lower league team along the road from you guys.
Which one ?

Due to the number of mining accidents, Welsh people have the lowest number of hands per person in Western Europe, at an average of 1.997 each

You missed Brockville and the old Douglas Park too.
And Shawfield

I only tick them off the list if I've seen the Pars play there in a competitive fixture. I've obviously been to Hampden but haven't seen Pars play Queen's Park there so don't count it.
Saw the Pars at hampden in the early 90's against Hibs.
Only time you'll see a Fife team in a said my dad.........
