  1. How is Agnew switching the ball onto his left foot, or moving his body shape to allow him to receive the ball with his left foot, any slower than a right footed player doing the same?

Got to disagree about keeping Fleming over Agnew. I like them both, but for me Agnew is the superior player.

I don't think anyone can deny that Aggy is a really good footballer, and what he has contributed to the team over the past few seasons has been immense, I just think the fact he is so one footed slows the game down sometimes, most players at this level have the ability to use both feet. I have lost count of the amount of times we are on the break the balls goes to Aggy and he has to turn back as the majority of times he won't use his right foot.

I think the fact he isn't 2 footed is the probably the only reason he hasn't made it at a higher level. (I do realise that I am leaving myself open for someone to mention the cracker he scored with his right foot at the Rock some time ago!)

  2. I realise that I am in the minority but I am not that bothered about Gils leaving. I found him such a frustrating player to watch over the last couple of seasons, he undoubtedly has talent but he has no pace and his decision making was poor. With regards Aggy, again I wouldn't be that fussed if he left, if he stays great as we need as strong as squad as possible. He did finish the season strongly but he was really poor at the start and he does have the tendancy to slow everything down in midfield as he has to get the ball onto his left foot all the time. We need a midfield that not only has some dig (especially as Turner is away) but also can move the ball quickly. I would far rather hold onto Fleming than Aggy in my humble opinon

  3. i still dont understand how we have creditors for payments that havent been missed yet, i think thats fucking stupid, can these clubs not opt out of being a creditor until we default on the payments or something, as you say the likes of Rapid etc accepting 5p in the pound or whatever is daft

thats the thing, you arent required to pay your tax until the end of the financial year, Rangers could argue (indeed that wee crook whyte did argue) that it was going to be paid but they ran out of money

i know whyte did it on purpose but it will be mighty hard for HMRC to prove that as the tax year maybe only finished at the end of march or april, by that time we were in administration

Corporation tax is due annually but PAYE, NI and VAT are due quarterly.
