  4. There seems to be a lot of get the Juniors into as low a league as possible chat that will create havoc with Linlithgow and Bo'ness potentially 3 leagues below Kelty if some posters have their way as they didn't apply in time. Need some direction from SFA to get this resolved. I would like to see at least top 4 East Super League teams into East of Scotland league with 3/4 being relegated until the league is more settled with best quality possible. With the West Region hopefully have West League slotting below Lowland League with Glasgow Uni, Threave, Bonnyton only potential additions to top 16 Junior West teams but at least one of them may not fancy it if current top 16 West teams are bold and go for it due to either likely to finish bottom or travel issues.
  5. Probably cause we wouldn't join Lowland League and would be East of Scotland forum you would have to look in!
  6. Irvine Meadow 2 v 0 Cambuslang Rangers. Saturday 24th March. League Game. https://youtu.be/hY-WV_V1p_U
  7. Completely made up. Quite a lot of random accounts saying this team are going and that team are going to East of Scotland / South of Scotland leagues so hard for people to get true picture of what is happening and clubs opinions on future.
  8. Shettleston 0 v 3 Irvine Meadow (MacKay, McGuire & McTernan). Saturday 17th March. Goal highlights below.
  9. Saturday 10th March. Irvine Meadow 2 v 1 Largs Thistle.
  10. Irvine Meadow v Lochee United. Second half highlights. https://youtu.be/1xxg17H7z4I
  11. Irvine Meadow 0 v 2 Lochee United. 1st half highlights thanks to Gerry Begley.
  12. Then you could get the situation where likes of Glenafton or Talbot going for league then only one promotion spot to Lowland League and realise will play Edinburgh University, Edusport and Vale of Leithen then think twice about winning the league. Would take 6-8 years to get a true level at least.... This is one of many reasons why a Lowland League West should be seriously especially with large population and high standard of teams in East and West Region Super Premier Leagues.
  13. Attitudes and real lack of flexibility and vision like this quote is really holding our game back. Option A. The majority of West Super League teams grounds I have visited and majority are at same or better standard than Lowland League grounds. Just need to get through extensive paper work and few other issues and all fine for Lowland League Level. Top teams like Talbot that could be promoted are already at this level but just don't want to go to South of Scotland League. Option B. You can have more than one promotion spot. Even if don't every other league at SPFL level have 4 teams play off for 1 promotion place. All non league teams could be invited to take part in Junior Cup with teams promoted to Lowland League still taking part as most prestigious and well known non league trophy in Scotland. Maybe get a sponsor and more prize money too with more teams in Junior Cup too (if they want to take part)
  14. Surely East Kilbride, BSC Glasgow and Cumbernauld rather play teams in current West Region (Glasgow / Ayrshire) than current travelling through East of Scotland and Borders. Also one of these could be promoted this season. With a 3 region split may have more promotion / relegation spots to League Two? 1 automatic and 1 in play off eventually perhaps.... Also the old East of Scotland teams get good chance of at least getting to play offs without 3 of the current top Lowland League teams. Also Spartans, East Stirling may think have a better chance of promotion than having to face the 3 teams listed. Although top East Region teams in Juniors may join Lowland League East if ever took off, but would mean larger attendance and less travelling.
  15. Two decent proposals to get a proper pyramid, if they are true. I don't see what is ridiculous about either to be honest. Obviously SJFA would rather there was a West and East Lowland League and as discussed in length it makes sense to have a 3 way split in Scotland due to large population in central belt compared to North. Very different from England. If not acceptable then South, East and new 'West' leagues with promotion to Lowland League.
  16. Saturday 20th January. Irvine Meadow 6 v 2 Dunbar United. Scottish Junior Cup 4th Round. Scorers: Boyle 3, Black, Miller & Devlin.
  17. Their manager is Stephen Swift who played in Juniors for Meadow, Kilbirnie and others so knows the high standard of teams in Juniors plus bigger potential attendances and if BSC ever have a poor season or two I reckon would much rather play current West Region Junior teams and not South / East of Scotland teams.
  18. 2nd half highlights. Irvine Meadow 0 v 1 Kello Rovers. Saturday 18th November
  19. Irvine Meadow 0 v 1 Kello. 1st Half Action. Saturday 18th November.
  20. I don't agree with all her views but in my opinion she is a decent person and good luck to her! Seems to be less anti SNP / Sturgeon in last few months as no longer has to be. If was my local councillor I would vote for her, couldn't as MSP as don't agree with her at the moment with a few things @ national level or could I ever support Scottish Labour but she is a good yin in my opinion.
  21. Kilwinning Rangers 2 v 3 Irvine Meadow. West of Scotland Cup 1st Round. Goal highlights thanks to Gerry Begley. https
