United fans on twitter gloating at Wighton's injury. Scummy b*****ds.

Hearing El Bak could miss Sunday, too. Fucking hell.

Wighton out for up to a year according to the Tele [emoji17]

Kamara pulled some decent turns but he looked a million miles off the pace. Would need to see him again but he was the weakest player on the park.
Crescendo wasn't much better.
If I were to make a snap decision based on a single half of the first friendly, then neither would have earned contracts.
Nils Rutten is the one of the three to keep an eye on.
A million miles off the pace? Everyone else has said he looked decent.0 -
Big season coming up for Wighton. Would like to see him play just off the front/in the hole. Struggled last season but Hartley persisted with sticking him out wide. The one excellent game he had, 2-0 win at Dens v Motherwell, he played in his natural position and looked unstoppable. Best performance from a Dundee player all last season, IMO.

Sad to see our best attacking players leave. Loy, El Bak and Wighton will step up though. Also, a team without GGH and GS will have better shape, a big complaint from last season.

DABs getting knickers all wet on Twitter touting Admin #3. Bless them.0 -
No matter what it is absolutely ridiculous to shout abuse at Greg Stewart who is by miles our best player.
With regard to the Peterhead game it's only natural that Greg would be somewhat discombobulated by Hemmings' sudden departure.
Thumbs up for use of discombobulated.0 -
Liam Kennedy is beginning to appear as a negative influence on our club as well. I get that he has a tough job getting a few stories together every day, and don't expect him to be 100% factual all of the time, but he continually posts articles/airs opinions that have a negative effect on the club. If he was from a national newspaper that's to be expected, but he works for our local paper - so instead of continually posting bile and blatant lies, surely he should be working in conjunction with the club. He did get a free trip and unlimited access to the squad during our trip to Austria FFS.
Couldn't agree more. He really is terrible. His coverage last night was woeful.0 -
Also briefly made fedoras cool.
He certainly did. Some guy.

I've heard that mcpake won't be playing again anyone else heard anything?
Doubt he'd be announced as club captain if a comeback was unlikely. Unless it was a token sympathy gesture.

We really haven't had an all performing goal scoring fit and quality No 10 since Giorgi Nemsadze and before him Jocky Scott. Any player we sign at either of those two's quality level will suit me.
Keep the No 10 for a bit of class.
Amazingly, Nemsadze never scored at Dens.

Bought a brick today! Missed out on the chance about 20 years ago, not this time though! Merry Xmas to me!
Good stuff. I like having a wee look at mine and my old man's on the odd visit to the Bobby Cox. Shame the new versions are beside the players' tunnel. Hard to get a look at them.

Andy Murray has lost to Stan Wawrinka in straight sets 7-6 6-4.
Got tickets for tomorrow's semi so a bit gutted he won't be there. Too easy for Stan tonight.

Just watched Saturday's goal back, didn't appreciate how well worked it was at the time. Patient build up, good fired pass from McGowan helped on with a lovely wee flick by Ross, composed finish from Hemmings. Either team could've nicked it in the end. Thistle always seem to play well against us.
PS, good post Ludo. Some people need to calm down a bit. Of course we could be doing better and have a few more points but overall we're doing fine. The atmosphere at Dens on Saturday was horrible, shouty numpties out in force.

For those who haven't seen it, this is great.

Sorry 2 offend u m8.
If you actually know the album you'll have realized that the 3 favourite Pixies songs I posted are all from Trompe Le Monde, so I have to ask why is it hard to believe that it's my favourite of their releases? Because you don't personally like it? Odd behaviour.
Surfer Rosa has 3 or 4 of Pixies best songs, but it also has a lot filler. The 2nd half of the album is ordinary. Tony's Theme, Oh My Golly and I'm Amazed are all nothing songs that don't do anything for me.
I think the Pixies were at their best when they went with a more sombre, melancholy type of song, and Trompe Le Monde showcases Pixies best songs of that nature IMO. Head On, Letter To Memphis, Bird Dreams of the Olympus Mons, Motorway To Roswell are all brilliant songs of this nature on Trompe Le Monde. I think it's a terrific album. Every song from Head On down to Najavo Way are all great tracks that never get skipped if they come on in shuffle, other than Lovely Day which I don't really like.

Great, great band.
1. Motorway to Roswell
2. Letter to Memphis
3. Bird Dreams of The Olympus Mons
4. Dig For Fire
5. Stormy Weather
also albums
1. Trompe Le Monde
2. Doolittle

It's wishful thinking but it would be magic to see United go down again. Looking back I didn't relish the last one enough.
Remember the day it happened well. We just missed out on the playoff spot despite winning 5-0 down at Stranraer. Mixed emotions on that mammoth bus journey home.

Love my newish pair of Asics/Tiger (in dark blue/red) but not for the first time, the sole bit that extends rounds the to the toe is coming away already. I've not been playing football in them or anything like that. Too late to take them back. Really pisses me off that expensive trainers can have that design fault.

Never got the hate for Conroy a lot of Dees seemed to have.
He was one of our best players for a while and was worth his pens and freekicks alone at times.
Totally agree. Good player, intelligent use of the ball and a great left peg. What a fucking goal. Just lacked the pace to be a fully effective wide player, where we always played him. Are Queens playing him wide?

Yep, the wee laddies who work for the Tele are just shamelessly making stuff up now.
