Do you think any Queens players may be released or wanted by other teams? This would free up places in the squad and if they are not cutting the managers mustard!!

Still need someone on the end of these balls into the box. There were at least three occasions yesterday when just needed a touch on target and we could have had a goal - McMillan played a ball from left right across goal, start of second half when another cross found Miller in acres at back post but poor ball control and another when I think Miller put in a corner only for there to be no takers. At least when you create chances you have a chance of getting a goal - it's not like we aren't creating goal scoring opportunities

This is where losing to Albion Rovers hurts. The potential game against Celtic would have meant players being more motivated putting them selves in the shop window and wanting to play in that match. The game itself may have tempted players to move to us in early part of window and the extra income would mean we may pay more and brought in an extra player. A lot of that won't happen now due to that 93 rd min goal

The last couple of matches has seen teams launch long throws into the box. I don't know how the team thinks about these but as a fan I'm always fearing the worst that along throw knock on and a goal. Yesterday we defended at times against them with 10 men plus the keeper. If you win a header or the ball there is no outlet and the ball but comes back in. Hamill has a long throw but now he is playing central midfield it's not there. Who was last players we had who had a long throw - Robbie Neillson?

Millar can and has demonstrated in the past he can take a good free kick - not Often but he has. Unfortunately he is well down pecking orders for free kicks at the moment with Dobbie taking them and I suspect if he doesn't thy will fall to Hamill. I'd rather see Millar or Hamill take corner kicks and have Dobbie lurking someway around the box

Millar today picked up a needless booking that effectively made him a passenger for the rest of the game. I thought once Millar went off today Pickard had a better game. We finished with a very young experienced midfield

I thought the biggest problem we had on Tuesday night was that Lyle was isolated up front. Dobbie wasn't playing as far forward as he usually does and was just sitting in front of Jacobs and Miller. To me it was 4411 formation. Being at home on Saturday will mean we will be less cautious. Hope Lee Robinson has been practicing his kicks this week. How many has he put straight out the field in last two games?

what really annoys me is you don't get a choice where to sit and if you end up in the front 4 or 5 rows you cannot see very much of game on the pitch. You end up watching it on the big screen. It's not too bad when Queens are shooting towards you but going the other way you see nothing

Think Dowie and Brownlie are playing well together. Brownlie is doing things now he wouldn't have tried last season. Higgin will struggle to get back in team at the moment

Carmichael like Thomson being released will be able to sign on for anyone outside the window. That's why they were released yesterday

You hear a lot about quarters and reaching 40pts mark and getting 10pts a quarter to see where that takes you. I don't think many people would have expected us to be sitting 2nd equal after 4 games with 10 pts. I think last season we started with 3 wins but they were maybe easier games. Great start - onwards and upwards

Progression on Tuesday night may allow the board to release some funds for an additional player knowing there is some unaccounted for income still to come. As they all say cup runs (or lack of them last season) aren't factored into expenses for a season when working out costs. I'm sure if we had not progressed out of the section then Dobbie would not have been signed. The extra income is welcome

At Russell age he has the comfort of a 2 year contract. Who knows what is around the corner - he may last a season , injuries may play a part so better 2 years than the 1 on offer from Queens. would Russell get another contract anywhere this time next year and if he did he will be better off this way

Ayr or Stranraer and maybe Killie too next season

Meant to add about Saturday's match wasn't the time right to bring on Moxon, Pickard or Smith when we were 4 nil up rather than Miller, Conroy and Russell. These are type of games that youth should b given a chance when the pressure is less. I'm sure even Pickard would have looked more confident playing in a winning team while gaining more experience
