It would have been as an Equipment Engineer - basically involved in preventative maintenance, fault finding, improvements etc of any manufacturing equipment or plant machinery - not sure what area I'd have been in though.

Equipment Engineer (or whatever the equivalent title is there!?) think I've still got the offer kicking around somewhere if you'd like me to be more specific.The folk I met were nice enough, and the interview process was fine - I was lucky enough to have three job offers on the table at the same time and whilst I took great delight in turning one of them down I felt quite bad about phoning your place 'cause they'd been so good with me ... and once again they were excellent when I phoned.

I got offered a start there around this time last year but turned it down for something closer to home - if anyone gets an interview send me a message and I can let you know what to expect.

The other £30 went on Arsenal & Kiev and would return £50 (or £80 including stake). I take it you don't get your stake back when it's been a freebie !?

I'm a 'vet' and find that cringe-worthy to the max. Although when I say I'm a vet I mean I'm a veteran of getting absolutely pished out my skull as often as possible for 15 years. FWIW - I've liked quite a few ex-forces pages cause they're good for old photos and catching up with ex-workmates but the amount of pish like the above that's posted is phenomenal. Many of them genuinely believe they are special.
