    did my normal thing of trying to buy my ticket an hour before kickoff, seemingly you need to email the club with a copy of your receipt for the Falkirk game and then they'll give you your discount code. 
    genuinely just assumed they would do a mailing list and be proactive enough to email me prior to the game with the discount code (or the vastly simpler LOWER THE FUCKING PPV COST BY 25% FOR THE MATCH) rather than making me jump through hoops to get it, so i cant really be fucked getting the game tbh, especially given what ive seen on here about having 13 fit outfield players.
    They do say in the email that if you email up until kickoff you'll get the discount so idk if you can maybe apply it to a different game if you dont get this one
    Might just leave it too, they could've made it a bit easier, I had thought they might email, but the last email I had was the receipt for the Falkirk game, think I'll just have a couple of hours on the Xbox instead. [emoji16]

      I trust the current board to do enough due dilligence to have an idea either way.


    You are not the first to state that you trust the current board to make the right decision, but It seems pretty unanimous on here that Lowe and the rest of the last board were not the right people, but did Beattie not choose to hand the reins to them?

    Absolutely this. Some of the reaction from Jags fans on twitter has been priceless. Sanctimonious pish about how we should all know better. 
    The song - as anyone with half a brain cell and even a scintilla of nuance will understand - is anti-sectarian. Anyone who can’t see that needs to get in the bin. It should be sung loudly and proudly.
    The SFA and SPFL might be forced into acting now that UEFA have punished rangers, and it may be anti sectarian, but do we really need to sing f*** the Pope and f*** the Queen loudly and proudly? Most nuetrals I know think it makes us no better than old firm fans, even if you explain the sentiment.

    With next season having no Weir money and no parachute payments it could turn into a bit of a slog in the championship. 


    As far as I know, Colin Weir never put any money into the club for use in the first team, only paid off the debt, set up the youth setup and was helping pay for a new training complex, so his refusal to give any more money to the club should have zero effect on the first team going forward.

    My worry is that their concern over the club's direction was that some shareholders didn't like the cautious approach to the takeover, and haven't thought about the long term risks if things don't work out for the new owners, and some shareholders just saw the opportunity to make some money, I suppose we just have to sit back and let it all pan out and see.

    I must be missing something, as I can't see where all the excitement is coming from, I see no evidence of chien and co being successful at other clubs, and did we not get rid of directors who do not stand to benefit personally for ones who will make substantial amounts of money if they sell the club down the river, as I said I may be missing something, but I am a bit concerned about what is unfolding, and don't understand where all the positive vibes are coming from.

    So we are just pretending Chris Erskine doesn’t exist now?
    Caldwell’s a w**k, even if he keeps us up.
    Loyalty to employees had a big part in getting us into this position, and perhaps Chris Erskine is more suited to playing a bit part at a club who are not under pressure, and maybe we need a different type of player, so although it may have been handled better, it might work out well for both parties.

    I don't think Alan Archibald is a dreadful manager but surprised Thistle have stuck with him. Thought the club would have looked to build some fresh enthusiasm and not sure that'll happen by keeping him. The second play-off game especially should have set the alarm bells ringing, the Jags looked a side devoid of any belief or direction.
    It'll be interesting to see how ruthless he is with the squad.
    Think that is the point, the side looked devoid of direction or passion, the club statement stated that Archibald took some of the blame for that and was getting the chance to correct that, and they also said that the squad had to be rebuilt from scratch which answers your other question, which also means that they will be a vastly different side from the one in the playoffs, hopefully better, but if not, I'm sure the board will make the required changes.
