  1. Our Challenge Cup match away at Partick will be live on BBC Alba.

Sunday 9th September, 4:05 kick off. Don't imagine there'll be much of a Rovers support bothering if the game is on TV. First time we've been live on telly since, what, 1996? Midweeker away at Celtic that I seem to recall watching on Sky Sports?

And with the foreign commentator as well I would imagine !

  2. I'm sure I read somewhere that they were asking fans wearing other teams top to use the away stand. Can't find the link now but I'm sure it was there somewhere.

That was quickly taken off the Rovers site. It'll be hard enough trying to keep fans of 4 different clubs to those playing seperated from each other, even though the reason for them being there is the same. It'll be fun keeping 5 different sections apart in the away end, though personally I'd have liked some of those Rovers"lovers" in the South stand cheering us on. As it is if the neutrals are coming to back the Rovers, how's that gonna look if(when) we score and half the away end are cheering ?

  3. So McMoist's idea for signing players is in case they are drawn against SPL clubs in the cups, and they want to be able to compete ? He doesn't think much of Division 1 clubs then does he, lets hope they get a decent 1st division club in the next round, and we'll see if his crack squad is any use. Unless of course he's been promised Celtic in the cup, nah the SFL/SFA wouldn't bend over for them would they ?

  4. this whole sorry sags is going to run and run. season starts in a couple of weeks and we still don't know what's going on.no doubt the spl will put another spanner in the works and what further punishment will the sfa dish out.

Scottish football needs one governing body not 3.

But what would we have if that 1 body was run by Regan and Donkeycaster ? In this instance having 3 bodies has helped get us where we are at today, a closed shop system would be awful.

  5. Manager Ally McCoist said: “Rangers has been severely punished for the actions of some individuals who previously ran the club, and it will take time for us to recover, but we will come back stronger, thanks to the loyalty of the fans and the commitment of everyone at Ibrox, who are working tirelessly to bring stability and success back to Rangers.”

Ally you didnae feckin help yoursel when you had a go at the 3 man panel, you deserve everything you get. As an SFL club now can we retrospectively expect to see McMoist get banned from the dug-out for his attack/threats on an SFL club board member ?

  6. I thought this meeting was for SFL clubs ? Green and McMoist have no right being there, they don't have a team in the SFL. I agree with other posters and hope to hell that even if it's division 3 they are shoe-horned into, that other non-league clubs challenge them being allowed in without them being offered a chance as well. Sevco as it stands at the moment should have less input or opportunity than say Spartans, who at least have a team.

  7. I'm expecting no vote to be taken today, once "The chosen three" have gauged it will go against their ideals, they'll stuff things up, and put it off again. On the no abstentions if the vote goes ahead, for Airdrie and Dundee I would imagine both are in favour of Newco, Airdrie with thier "former shareholders of Rangers" directors, and Dundee as it would aid them in their ambition to get promotion without winning anything idea.
