  1. After a 4 point weekend against Braehead and Coventry last weekend, Edinburgh Capitals are at home to Hull on Sunday evening - £10 if you get the voucher in todays Edinburgh Evening News, or £20 for a family (2+2) which is reasonable. Caps have won something like 5 out of 7 and 4 home games on the bounce, so sure to be entertaining

  2. On the subject of the wages being paid and the players they're looking to employ, in a way it's not surprising. Their logic will be that they have to be placed to win successive promotions before they get another window. It's entirely consistent with everything we know about this club that they'll want to leave nothing to chance. The last thing their fans will want is a fair fight.

They should utterly walk the divisions, despite what we saw on Sunday.

However, without selling an awful lot of tickets, another insolvency event must be a possibility.

It's typical of a Rangers mentality that they'd rather again risk their very existence than risk losing some of their football matches.

In their entire history Rangers and their gloryhunting fans haven't believed in a level playing field, it's driven them to liquidation and they still haven't learnt the lesson.

I'm hoping we're all doing this again at the end of next season, only this time they'll be dead for good.

  3. Gents,

Has anybody tried to send an email to enquiries@scotprem.com in the last five mins?

I spent ten minutes composing an email to tell them politely to stuff their blackmailing.

But surprise, my email bounced back!! Have the b*****ds switched us off because they don't want to read what we all want, even ex Rangers fans?

What was the bounce you got?

I'm an email server admin. I'll be able to tell you from looking at it what's up.

  4. the rangers fans werent the ones who fucked it up in the first place.

    certain people did that.

division 3 here we come. lets see how 'good' the spl actually is without the most successful club in history and the future for 3 years

show us what you all have got

Funny that. When your club does something horribly wrong then "It was the board wot did it not the fans, nothing to do with us". When the club wins trophy after trophy (with ill gotten financial advantages) the fans love the reflected glory. Either have your cake or eat it chum.

    Cheerio.

  5. I had to laugh this morning I was reading in the Daily Old Firm Record getting some practice in trying make the SFL "sexy" to any fans of the NewCo, by beeffing the possible match between Dumbarton and the NewCo as "One of the oldest fixtures in the game". Expect a lot more like that in coming weeks

    http://www.dailyreco...86908-23899724/

I tried to back up these claims by Googling "Sevco 5088 FC vs Dumbarton FC". I couldn't find any historical fixtures between the two, I must be looking in the wrong place.

  6. Been away for a few days and perhaps I've lost track but can anyone explain why the media are in general agreement that Sevco will be playing in the first division next season ?

How will this be spun to make it look fair ?

Why are the SFL the whipping boys for the SPL in that they are expected to solve the problem of a league that were determined to separate from them to go their own way ?

I can think of only one way forward for Sevco, now that their application to join the SPL is going to be rejected. They must apply to join the SFL and be considered along with other new applicants. If the decision makers in that process believe that the new club is tainted, with it's relationship to the now defunct Rangers, then they must reject the application in favour of one of the other applicants, with an acceptable background, who meet the criteria. One of which would be three years of financial accounts.

If the rules are to be ignored in favour of Sevco, then by their very actions, the SFL are admitting that the integrity of their competitions are less of a priority than admitting this brand new club to the league.

My view is that this would confirm the SFL heirarchy recognise Sevco as a re-incarnation of the corrupt Rangers Football Club and even with this knowledge they are prepared to award them preferential status.

The bottom line is that a successful Sevco application to division 3, far less division 1, renders the SFL an uncompetitive, discriminatory organisation. As a lifelong supporter of Ayr United, I believe that I must give serious consideration to ending my association with SFL competition and that will mean that I cannot continue with my attendance at Ayr United matches. If it comes to it, that will be a very sad day for me and I suspect that many other diddy team supporters will also be evaluating their position. I don't believe that Sevco will fail to find a home in scottish football and so, I dearly hope that a compromise that will allow me to continue following the club that I love, without undermining my principles.

    I'm not hopeful.

6 SPL teams have now stated they will vote "no". It won't be the SPL's problem anymore - it's up to the SFL to decide a) if they want them and b) where to place them. The SFL can tell them to GTF too if they want.

  7. I don't have to prove f**k all to no c**t bawbag.

There's this thing called 'Google' on the internet. It's what is known as a 'search engine'. What you do is you type the key words of an article or articles that you are looking for into the box at the top of the page. For example, I don't know, maybe something like 'Sky old firm 4 games'. Within seconds it will return any information on the subject you are looking for.

What you do then is, you use your eyes to read this information then your brain will, (or should, I'm not quite sure in your case), process this information until your mind understands what exactly it has just taken in.

I've got nothing to back myself up with
