  1. No!

Great shout. Will watch that then.

Is Tears of the Sun any good?

Just realised I've got Born on the Fourth of July on DVD. Not exclusively a war-film, more politics. Great watch nevertheless.

    never seen that before.

I would also recommend Windtalkers, Flags of our Fathers and Letters From Iwo Jima

  2. Can anyone suggest a good, maybe humourous war film I can download illegally buy legitimately from a licensed retailer?

Recently I've watched Jarhead, Tropic Thunder and Inglourious Basterds, and am looking for something along the same genre.

Not a film but have you seen the series Generation Kill?

  3. Paranormal Activity.

I enjoyed this, nothing was really scary in it, but it was kinda, um, spooky?

    Like

the whole bit with the footsteps and the bed covers going up as if the Demon was getting into the bed!

I liked the bit where she got dragged down the hall too.

I thought the ending was okay, if not predictable, it was also the only bit of the film where I slightly jumped.

I also liked Micah taking the piss out of the ghost guy at the start.

    A solid 7/10

I thought it was shit scary. Some of it gave me chills

    8/10 awesome movie

  4. Well yes, actually. Delivery cost £3.50, and I chose the window of 2-4 because it fitted well with my schedule today. What would you suggest I'd have done if I had to go out somewhere for 5pm? They would have then tried to charge me twice for a redelivery. If they were so busy between 2 and 4, their website should have prevented me from choosing that timeslot. As it happens, I received my groceries considerably later than I had anticipated.

I know what your saying. Maybe I didn't have to exagerate. Argos give you ridculous times. Last week they said they would arrive between 9am and 6pm :o

  5. This supposed train deal that runs with Sainsbury at the moment - how do you actually get the voucher, or whatever, so you can go anywhere in Scotland for £15?

It's just dawned on me I was in Sainsbury earlier and received nothing that'd entitle me to the discount...

shit I forgot about this. Trips to Inverness and Dingwall out the window.... thankfully
