  1. Enjoyed the Sunderland documentary. Even though it reminded me of the misery of supporting Villa these last few years.
Have watched a few episodes of Hip Hop Evolution and it's excellent. I didn't know too much of the genre outside Public Enemy/NWA but it's a good watch, and encouraging me to broaden my musical horizons outside my normal white boys with guitars preference.
The Hip hop Evolution series is outstanding.
They've got a documentary up about the murder of Run DMCs Jam Master Jay which is worth a watch.

  2.
What has been obvious is that umpires now pay very little attention to no balls. Stokes was caught twice off of deliveries from Sandakan where he had overstepped the line but they were only picked up by asking the third umpire to check, and they showed a load of them during the tea break that hadn't been spotted.

40% of his deliveries could have been called according to Aggers on twitter.
  3. Although Jimmy hanging around at the end with the bat effectively won that match, I would rest him for the 3rd test and bring Bairstow back in to bat at 3. Curran and Stokes will suffice for seam options and Joe Root needs to be told to back himself more as a spin option if he continues to refuse to bat first down.
Not sure Curran will be risked with a side strain when the series is already won.
  4. I was struck by the solemn and respectful demeanor of Theresa May over the last few days of Remembrance.
But I also marvel at how she can consummately adjust her moral compass when it comes to the UK selling armaments to, for example, Saudi Arabia to then bomb Yemeni children to death.
This daughter of the manse may be lacking in many things, but rampant hypocrisy is not one of them.
Is there not a money trail back to her husband from these arm sales?
