Would have played this at boghead, health and safety gone mad these days

To be fair, it is a miracle we got to top of the league in the first place

No sympathy at all for farrell, he’s clueless.

The best advice I can give to anyone is to just leave the group. @optimistic should be tried at the fucking Hague for what he’s started.
The Facebook was created cause dfc, had little or no social media footing. I have no control over the opinions of others, but feel free to comment, vent your opinions.
I certainly don’t necessarily agree with some or many.

Quite fancy another trip up to Aberdeen, I’m off on a Thursday

Carswells best season was his first season, where I think he was initially on loan

Perhaps it will cost us nothing if there’s a clause for him to leave if we get relegated?

I was wondering about this. Is he worse than Paul Martin? Quite a tough call IMO. PM did at least manage a season where he kept us up and went on to be successful at Albion Rovers, I suppose.
Or David Winnie?

On what grounds would you sack him if he kept us up? From his comments the other night his remit from the board was to keep us in the division. I'm no expert on employment law but I'm not sure you can sack employees for meeting their targets.
If that is indeed his remit, no you can’t, but pre season, he told us his squad was good enough for top 4. So either he’s hopeless as a manager, or he’s signed duds

I hope the club has someone in mind quickly, and don’t wait another 3 weeks to appoint another manager
but get him out the door tonight

So farrell still in charge then

Farrell out , I don’t even care if we go down , but I’d have a new manager that can hopefully prepare for next season, regardless of the league we’re in,
Dumbarton, as a club, need to get back to the footballing side of things pretty sharpish, instead of fighting over the scraps of the future sale after our move
We’re looking like the next Brechin at present

Is it time for farrell to go now?

Confidence should be up a bit, last two games have been decent against Dundee and cove. No reason why we can’t go to Montrose and get a result, but our defence needs to be at their peak,
