  1. How can Cena not get out of that? He didn't even kick him in the balls or anything. He just picked him up and held him on his shoulders for a good 10 seconds before F5ing him.

    Lesnar's music is shit though.

    He's fucking great though.

Cena loses two big feuds in a row? Lesnar can't lose his first coming back.

I love his music. Theres something brilliant about hearing it and seeing his old titantron. Like most of the great guys themes, its instantly recognisable.

Lesnar's music is brillaint i think. Whatever that noise is at the start of his music, it gets you right pumped up.

  2. After facing Punk in a title match the same night? I like it but can't see it happening.

Look no further than The Rock in 1998. Took on Ken Shamrock in a 20 minute match for the Intercontinental Championship, then entered the Royal Rumble at No3 nd lasted over 50 minutes only to be eliminated last by Stone Cold.

  3. We'll see, and when Y2J does show on the 2nd of January and starts feuding with CM Punk leading up to a match at WrestleMania the smugness that will be shown will be off the charts and we'll soon see about reasoning.

    - Also the girl doesn't even need to be a tangible person, she's probably just representing the WWE as a whole. IMO they're putting more emphasis on the girl now to make people think otherwise.

Again, it's funny how people in this thread think they're some sort of fountain of wrestling knowledge.

I'm not disputing the fact for one second that could be Chris Jericho, it's your reasoning behind your argument that is somewhat baffling.

  4. You hear shit-loads of spots during RR matches as well. Quite logical I suppose seeing as there's usually at least 6 guys in the ring at once.

Aye and the camera is almost never on them up close which may lead to them being a little more careless in calling spots to one another.

Why oh why oh why oh why did they not just create the same red and black outfit the original Kane had?, the new one is terrible.

The mask is a belter tho!.

The design is a different matter but Kane himself may have requested that he doesn't want that type of outfit .

  5. I genuinely think it is.

I know when he removed the mask as few years back it was attached but that was for the whole 'burned' storyline. Kane always had legit long hair when he was masked as far as I know. I thought his hair was his own again when he came back out last night. 5 and half months is long enough to grow your hair right out I'd imagine.

Regardless though, he looks in far better shape now than he has in any time over the last 5 years. As Forehead said, he looked so much like Taker, I half anticipated a massive swerve.

It's a wig, he was virtually bald 5 months ago. No way can it be grown in that time

  6. Jericho has always had a character like this, as for it relating to doomsday and the end of the world - Jericho's name in itself is very religious and has connections to the bible (apparently) - "the walls of Jericho" etc - when he originally debuted videos etc played about the countdown to the millenium and about the millennium bug which was hyped up to cause all sorts of havoc, like with 2012.

He had mysterious promos like this back in 2007 as well.

It is without doubt Y2J. Lot's of people reckon he'll come back to feud with CM Punk, with him claiming to be "best in the world", and that it's the girl looking over the shoulder of the boy as if to be "copying" or "stealing" his work. It makes sense really as Y2J v CM Punk would be a belter of a feud as well IMO.

This is the most ridiculous thing ive ever read on this thread. The comments of the whole scorpion marks/baseball bats on the ground in the 2 21 11 videos come to mind here.

It won't be Taker purely because he doesn't need promo's like this and it's before the Royal Rumble - if Taker was to return before the Rumble then he will win it.

Kane will win the RR i think.

Just watched last night's again - it says "coming". Must be Val Venis.

What are you talking about? It also mentions "control" therefore it can only be one man. Spike Dudley because he was in charge of the Dudley Boys at one point.

Completely unrelated to any discussion currently ongoing but i genuinly had goosebumps watching that. The reaction from the crowd when The Rock hits The People's Elbow is amazing!

Thats JR at his best, he makes that moment a lot more special with his commentary of that moment.

One of the best pop's I've ever heard was the one in this video - I'm sure everyone will remember it! I even jumped out of my chair watching it at home!

Michael Cole ruins this moment IMO.

  8. There's no chance of Awesometruth winning unless Cena Turns heel

Cena wont turn heel until a Wrestlemania much like Austin, the difference being that Rock, HHH, Taker, Kane and Angle were all selling lots of merch etc. at the same time. Therefore WWE could afford to turn Austin.

Cena sells a shit ton of merch everynight and WWE know this, until 2 or 3 other guys get majorly over and start selling merch Cena will remain exactly where he is right now and has been for the past 5 years.

  9. Hulk Hogan is still the biggest name in wrestling today (with the possible exception of the Rock). More people will be able to tell you who Hulk Hogan is than who John Cena is.

As for "employing" all his "old cronies", he isn't "employing" anyone. Bischoff's role is on-screen and in production and I think he's done brilliantly in both. He's one of the best heels in the history of the business and is drawing heat to this day. He's the second best on screen authority figure there's ever been after Vinny Mac. Steiner and Hogan don't have a relationship that I know of? As for Russo, you do know Russo was employed by TNA for almost four years before they signed Hogan? I suggest you read up on what happened at Bash at the Beach 2000 as well if you think Russo and Hogan are "cronies".

Hulk and Flair shouldn't be retired IMO. Both have the ability to work a crowd better than arguably anyone in the business. Hogan in particular is the best there ever has been in terms of timing, selling and evoking emotion. A good worker pops a crowd and draws money. Hulk Hogan is still one of the best.

    Great post.

    Great spear
