In terms of season ticket my limit was breached long ago, handing over hundreds of pounds in one go for something I don't actually need to hand over hundreds of pounds in one go to actually go and see doesn't really work or make sense to me. We have introduced a pay up scheme but I think its a pretty short time frame.
For a walk up I do think £20 is plenty and since we have gone past that I have attended less regularly. Its obviously not just the ticket price where my limit comes in, im looking at the cost of getting there which for me is train so the prices regularly go up there as well so something closer to me going up to £26 like Hamilton is more appealing when skint than something a little further away like Raith Rovers at £22.
Away fans are treated like shite as well which plays a part, I cant for the life of me remember who it was but I do remember not going to a game because we were getting moved to a different area of a ground and being charged more for being in there than the 1st visit of the season - this was pre-covid and sounds like a Dundee United style tactic but cant be certain.
