  1. I have vague recollections of McGarvey but did he not have one of the worst managerial records in Queens history. The idea of the player-manager certainly did not have the desired effect.

To think back to the times of the Queens directors/committee selecting the team under the MCKinnells and I wonder if under Harkness the Queens team was being selected by the directors/committee or the managers under his stewardship.

    Please go away

Unfortunately the stats do not lie. Second worst home record isn't all that surprising since the end of the 1st Quarter. Luckily Queens are third best away from home. Also 6th in Offence and 7th in Defence also tells it's own story. With the Quarter Total pojnts of 18, 2, 15 & 8 with one game to play you can certainly see where Queens spiralled down the league with 7 straight defeats in Q2.

    Hiya RUSTY
  3. The guy could walk into any bottom half club in the top flight and probably a couple higher than that. 26 goals (sure that's his tally) for a side who have been average at best this season is an incredible return. Imagine if he was in a side like Hibs in this league?

    That's right mate

26 goals so far for Dobbie . 19 league goals & 7 in the cups

Stephen Dobbie now equal with Rowan Alexander on 78 goals for Queens after his double against Ayr this afternoon ......

  5. Carmichael because we know what he is capable of at this level. He hasn't really been fully fit this season but I would like to think that with a full pre-season behind him he'd have more of an impact. His first touch is definitely still there.
Atkinson because I think he's good enough at this level, as I've just said in the Raith match thread, I'd like to see him take over for the rest of the season, as Robinson has conceded quite a few goals that he simply shouldn't have this year.

Think it's about time Atkinson moved on and a got first team football somewhere else .
Nothing against the lad but he's wasted sitting on the bench every week .......
  6. think people seem to forget two of the 3 board members where in charge when the club nearly went tits up, when without the sos and trust we probably wouldnt have a club. it might be running smoothly now but he had to bring mark robertson in to help, still think it is wrong decision to not vote the trust onto the board.    also the supports liaison officer was this job advertised anywhere? im sure that every club who has appointed one hasnt just offered it to someone close to the club but advertised it and had fans vote for the person.

I always believed that the money Billy Hewitson paid Queens for the small piece of land next to the Arena saved the day ....???
