  1. Keeper situation half-sorted out! Thoughts Arbroath fans?
  2. Not a prolific goal-scoring striker but he's a good height and build for a target man. If he can hold the ball up well, win headers then he could be really handy in linking up with Ryan Wallace up front. Look forward to seeing a few other additions to the squad.
  3. Pleased with that. Especially Murdoch, Higgins and Smith.
  4. Had hoped Forfar would avoid relegation this season. One of my favourite away days and an all round "good guy" club. Reckon we should go with a mixed line up tonight, especially giving some of the young guns a run out to prove to Darren Young that he doesn't have to go looking elsewhere for more experienced players for squad build-up for next season.
  5. SPFL absolutely haven't got a leg to stand on here. I actually dare them to punish EF of any 'wrongdoing'.
  6. League 1 status now confirmed after the results this afternoon. Rebuilding and planning for next season must begin now.
  7. Not a word has been mentioned on EF social media accounts regarding the game whatsoever. Don't even know if this counts as a ST holder match? No desire to watch it anyway.
  8. https://eftv.info/highlights-2020-21/?doing_wp_cron=1618781097.9444320201873779296875 Match highlights. Peterhead keeper pulled off some cracking saves in this game.
  9. Away win imminent. Bunch of bottle-jobs in our squad, my god. How does Wallace just volley that over 5 yards from the goal? Lucky to still be on the park as well.
  10. Same line up as against Forfar if I'm not mistaken, happy with that. Just hope we actually take most of our chances!
  11. Should be about 5-0 up. Hope this doesn't come back to haunt us.
  12. No complaints from me. Game was there to be won....but we threw it away with abysmal game management from DY and lazy, amateur-esque, decision-making from our players. Simple as that. Don't mind being out of the cup to be honest, just infuriated in the manner we gave the game away. Sole focus on the league now please.
  13. Got the job done in the end but my god what a brutal game of football that was. First half was a massive improvement from Tuesday night, especially across the midfield with Newton closing down non-stop. Second half was a total snore fest. Welcome 3 points nonetheless. Clyde without Goodwillie are awful.
  14. I have to be honest, in the three games we've had him back, he hasn't impressed that much. Nowhere near as good as he was before he left but that's probably mostly down to fitness. If only Jack Hamilton was still with us; we'd probably be in the bottom two had it not been for his contribution before the season was halted.
  15. That 3-0 loss to Montrose on Tuesday night will have been absolutely deflating and mortifying for the players, and the pressure will now be mounting on Darren Young to get the players motivated and fired up again after that shambolic display. Fash's loan now over as he returns to Kelty, so will DY stick new loanee Greig Spence straight in to the team, or will he opt to give Sean Brown an opportunity? I'd go with the latter, personally. Desperate to see DY show some "tough love" and mix things up a little bit by dropping a few players. Especially Agnew/Slattery who have been a mere shadow of their former selves. Long Murdoch Watson Higgins Fenton Watt McKinnon Davidson Denholm Brown Wallace
  16. The less said about the match last night, the better. Serious questions for DY creeping in for me now. I'm not usually one for jumping on the "sack-the-manager" bandwagon, but it is becoming increasingly clear that he tends to stick with the same players week in week out and approaching matches with the "hope for the best" tactics. Does it not occur to DY that this (perhaps unintentionally) could send a very, VERY bad message to the rest players on the bench who are hardly ever given an opportunity?
  17. Would rather not get too bogged down on just how unbelievably pathetic we were last night, and instead just pass my compliments to Montrose who I thought displayed a "Petrie-masterclass". A 3-0 victory without even getting out of 1st gear was very impressive. With all due respect, I don't really think Montrose have better individual players than we do, but what they do have is a far superior TEAM/UNIT and a manager who clearly knows how to set up his squad. Well done, Mo. You won it fair and square.
  18. Just throwing my two pennies here.... I reckon the launch of this (mostly narcissistic and ego-driven) Alba party, may have just forced the SNP to potentially rethink their strategy going in to the election. Do the SNP persist with the "BothVotes" strategy in the hope that they marginally cut across the majority line, or do they accept that an SNP 1 Green 2 vote would be a better course of action to eliminate as many of those "gifted" pro-union seats as possible? It's a tricky one because the former is certainly a big gamble for the SNP, but the latter is probably the more sensible option but could end up looking a bit daft. As much as I think Salmond is a yesterday's man and should disappear altogether, I won't underestimate the number of votes the Alba Party could achieve. What concerns me is I'm not convinced a large number of the Alba Party voters will even follow their new party's strategy in voting SNP 1 Alba 2.
  19. The Twitter "Cherry symbol" mob will be absolutely gutted. I'm actually quite surprised. Thought she was a certainty to defect.
  20. Looks like the egotistical maniac is about to do a "Margo" and stand as a Pro-independence MSP. The difference here is people actually liked Margo.
  21. Bit of an odd signing. Is Hart or Long injured? Would have preferred an extra centre-half on the bench
