That equally applies to any midweek game.  I think the fact that the B teams are full time pros is more of an advantage than anything, regardless of kick-off time.

point missed completely  but not surprised

Modern football at all levels sees games being played every day of the week.  A great many Championship and L1 games have been played on Friday nights for TV. Football all over the world are split across Thur/Fri/Sat/Sun/Mon as a matter of routine.

"Tradition" went out of the window a long time ago I'm afraid.

As you will know, Uni of Stirling play quite a few games on a Sunday due to fixture clashes, as do Broomhill, and Celtic B, it's just a reality of groundshares. Hutchison Vale share Ainslie Park on a Saturday with Spartans, so Hearts B presumably decided to make Friday night match day so people knew in advance what to expect rather than chopping and changing.  I think they have had one re-arranged game on a Saturday there.  For away teams, it's once or twice a season and little different to scheduled midweek matches anyway.

Big advantage to hearts B playing every friday night at home ,,,,their players are not working then rushing to get to Edinburgh through traffic after a hard shift at work

That’s not fair , BU can manage fine with social media when looking for sponsorship , treasure chest etc so they know what to do .

They welcome the money from the the support but chose to tell us nothing .

Not fair..?  All im saying is that instead of critising go along and offer your support in helping the club with something that they obviously need help with....

The lack of updates from boness on signings & friendlies are brutal need to sharpen up there social media sode

Get along on monday night and offer your assistance in this matter im sure they would welcome your help

  5. And rightly so. Literally every point he makes is valid.
Yes, ultimately it is up to the BU to rise to the challenge, but ultimately they should they have never been lied to or been put in a position where they may now have to compete for resources in a small community of Bo’ness’s size.
BU Junior Athletic Thistle can continue spinning that yarn about being a Junior side that had their hand forced, but given the fate of the East Juniors was a given before they were formed - their story is utterly transparent bullshit, plain and simple.
    Parasites
  6. Is it any different to stirling uni or caledonian braves?. They keep on saying boness cant have 2 senior clubs but  their really is not much if any difference between ersjfa south and eosfl
Why should a Bo'ness institution with its proud history that's been there since 1945 potentially jeopardise it's future in this current difficult financial climate for a club that's only been in existence for months.. Maybe I'm missing something but what if any plus points can be gained by having another senior team in the town .fighting for sponsorship ,crowds, fixture fullfillments.
