It’s a real shame this drama seems to have overshadowed what has been a really positive start to the transfer window.

They are young and idealistic but you've got to respect their passion for the club. The short term cash boost wouldn't be worth the long term alienation of these young guys who've chosen being Ayr fans over the the easy option of the OF.
Giving up the HOME end is a horrible idea.
If they feel that strongly about it then just boycott the game.

For me we’re still needing
RB (1st choice), LB (ideally first choice but not as critical as RB), 2 CB’s (1 if Musonda/Sanders re-sign), CM, Winger.

Delighted with that signing. Probably puts an end to rumours of 3 at the back as I’m sure Henderson is an out and out winger.

Aye, almost certainly. His competition is Robbie Mutch and Ollie Ecrepont, who is very highly rated and had a succesful loan at East Stirling but probably a season or two too early for him.

Devlin triggered a clause in his contract when Livi got relegated that meant he was a free agent so he might be looking at a top flight club but given his injuries that move might not come.

Trying to get away from the SRE chat, interesting comments from Brown on website: “"It's a really competitive transfer market and I'm happy we've so far got the ones we wanted who were first choice for the positions we needed to fill. Obviously you're going to miss out at times but the squad's coming together nicely and we'd still like a couple more."
I hope he’s severely under cooking it by saying “a couple more” as we’re still 5 or 6 players away imo.
