Aye I think McGinley is away but it’s one of those ones where the club aren’t acknowledging his existence as there was zero point in him being here.

Clarke isn’t signing so we need a goalkeeper but I’m guessing this is being worked on. We need a right back, centre back and a couple wingers as well. Whether or not Sanders and Chalmers come back I don’t know. Ideally we can maybe get another 5 in before the league cup and then use those games to see what’s missing. We’ll likely make use of the loan market after that point for another 1 or 2.

Aye I get that but it’s affecting my OCD so if the club could acknowledge he’s gone even if it’s just at the end of the next signing announcement that would be great.

I would like to hear some new names(other than Oakley) instead of who we had last year. We have been saying all season we need full backs, centre back, midfielders, wingers, goalie etc. If it's a rebuild to push on we need new names in. The loan market is always hit and miss and never helps when we loan from teams in the same division.

I’d agree as previously said I’d only be signing one of Sanders or Musonda and wouldn’t be overly bothered if both moved on. The club have been pretty good in recent years of not leaking signing information till it was a done deal so I’d hope there’s a few deals pretty far down the line and it’s a case of just dotting the I’s and crossing the T’s.

Oakley been the obvious exception to this however that came from Greenock Tele side and resulted in a week or so of Morton tears so I’ll allow it.

Where was the supposed news that it was between us and Ross County for Logan Chalmers?

Thought a move to Raith was all but done.

If there is any truth in this them staying up has probably increased our chances. Don’t think he’s ready for the premiership.

Who we still waiting to hear on? Rumoured to be trying to get Sanders, Chalmers and Clarke on permanents. Clarke doesn’t look like it’ll be happening. Offered a deal to Musonda but still waiting on an outcome on that one. Heard nothing on McGinley but safe to assume he’s been released?

Bit nauseous after watch that tbh

I thought he was coming across really well until he said something along the lines of hoping Celtic fans take over Ayr on 5th July. I completely get it’s Celtic TV so he has to appease to the audience but it did make me feel a bit sick in the mouth 😂

Similar to my thinking with what's there but Musonda isn't signed.

Just shows you that despite a good start with the signings we still have a fair bit of work to do. Presuming that’s the formation id only want Stanger, Dempsey, Dowds, Murphy and Oakley starting. Murdoch if he rediscovers his form from when he first signed but that’s doubtful imo.

I've seen a few comments on here that we are in for Dowds. Can't say I've heard that as the only rumours at Raith so far are Lewis Stevenson and Hanlon at Hibs and Logan Chalmers. Have you heard something about links of Dowds to us. By the way Oakley is a cracking signing.

Dowds has signed a deal with ourselves this morning. Confirmed by club. Wouldn’t surprise me if you are in for Logan Chalmers, you won’t be the only one though.

  6. I’ve been phone less for the past two days so delighted to come back to several bits of transfer news. We’ve known for a while that Oakley was signing but I think most of us suspected this was instead of rather than as well as Anton Dowds so really happy we have both.

I really liked Amartey but given he didn’t really seem to be fancied by Bullen or Brown there is little point in keeping him. Similar with Ahkeem Rose. Good luck to them both in the future.

Personally wouldn’t have been offering Reading a new deal. As previously discussed full back has been our weak area for a few years now and we really need two new fullbacks/wingbacks depending on how Brown plans to play this season. If Reading (and McAllister) were 2nd choices to the starters then that would be fine but given he’s been given a two year deal I suspect he’ll be starting. We’ve apparently offered deals to Musonda and Sanders, personally I would only be keeping one of them as we can’t really be going into next season with almost the same defence and expect different results.

Do you think we can resign Dowds?

He was loved by Dick and Ian at Arbroath - he is way too intelligent and successful for us average  supporters - and we all know he doesn’t need the money- just a purpose !- Am I naive ?

    😂😂😂😂😂😂

I went to the Man United game as well. I told my nephew about it a while ago and he was more impressed by the fact Sean McGinty was playing for Man Utd than he was that I'd witnessed Pogba playing at Somerset.

Traynors testimonial was during the 2000/2001 season.

Is that the same Stephen Glass, Ryan McGuffie and Colin McMenamin who had fairly succesful careers in the Scottish lower leagues?

According to transfermarkt his contract expires this summer, but at only twenty you would probably expect Livingston to try and keep him around as a squad player- if he has looked decent in the championship.

We’re loaded mate*, if we him we’ll get him.

    *according to Morten fans.

Next season is shaping up to be the most Central belt Championship for some time with the possibility of Ross County or St Johnstone being the furthest trip.

Hope County do the business tomorrow and Raith beat St Johnstone in the playoffs. Although further away Perth is a lot easier to get to on public transport than Kirkcaldy
