  1. Kerr was one of the best box to box players we have had in my time watching the bairns however he tempered his game as inevitably time caught up with him...I though he was excellent in the games at TFS last season & would take him back in a sitting role as without vaulks we have no other class midfielders ( Taiwo too inconsistent)... So I would be happy to see him back but not gutted if he isn't.....a return to the pars would also seem logical

  2. Let them say what they want. Their party line has always been that the SFA would do anything to get Rangers back to the top. This ruling has proven beyond doubt that no matter how many times the P&Ds tell that lie it will never be the truth.

A Merry Christmas to all the Rangers posters on P&B.

Absolutely true that ... Why else would a new club with zip accounts get in before let's say Spartans who met the criteria ... Draw your own conclusions ..,,as long as there is no civil unrest

  3. So...ma is not a director of rainjurs therefore his loans count for he haw when they enter next admin...therefore the loans are unprotected & he could lose every penny ...so he has no access or ingress to a DLA either way ...therefore this is a total punt unless of course lambiass has his DLA accounted for under himself then I'm sure he could syphon the money back ahem legally

  4. Glad we gave Hearts half the ground otherwise that main stand would've been awfy embarrassing on the tele.

Thanks to all the stay away watch on the Tele brigade.

Yes I'm one of them st holder but decided that530 is a shite time for a football match .... Ruins your Saturday in my opinion if you have plans ...so watched the game with a glass of Pinot Grigio and guess what we were garbage
  5. no we gave away a ground we owned & let a supermarket chain build on it for nothing.apparently it was the most generous thing ever done by a football club & I believe it allowed us to register as a charity. I've also heard that the real purpose behind this move was to build a world class stock car track with a tinderbox stand ...but we will need the council to pay for this pipe dream

  6. Maybe too early to conclude it's a disaster, but I thought things were too clouded by the fact he'd been a 'cult' player for you.

He inherited good players at United, was unpopular in the dressing room and left under an arrogant cloud. I also thought he was culpable as part of Levein's dreadful Scotland regime.

Although Pressley and Holt had mixed records, I'd see them as more viable choices for a side like Falkirk.

As regards the good players Falkirk have produced, as I've said before, it's bloody impressive. It's no accident, but also relies on a degree of luck for several to come through more or less at once.

Genuine question: What if that now doesn't happen for two or three seasons?

Does it just mean that some soft loans go longer without being repaid? Does it suddenly mean Falkirk will need to countenance the seaside? Or does it make little tangible difference, calling into question the entire point?

I honestly mean it when I say that there's much to envy and admire about how Falkirk operates. It just all looks a bit circular. As a Scotland fan, I want to see more of this kind of approach. As a Falkirk fan though, I think I'd have lots of questions.

There will be no more big sales as there is no one left that's any good...sibbald isn't fast or determined enough to make a top class player & Alston has lost it completely. .... This however could be the answer to our problems because hopefully what will happen is we will make losses due to lack of player sales. The club won't be able to repay loans & ultimately will be guided into admin which will remove the current directors allowing us to start again debt free ala Jambos. We can then renogetiate on our high "fixed costs" which supposedly got us into this position in the first place. Alternatively we can go part time as their players seem to be fitter & equally as pish as ours. We are not attracting a better quality of player by being full time & it may allow us to get rid of utter jokers like OTJ & David smith (unless there is something in their contract guaranteeing full time football) & again as a part time club we could renegotiate these "fixed costs".

  7. Can't say that I've felt attached with the team at any point this year. There's nothing in the team. No characters. No Farid, Higginbotham, Taylor or Millar that could turn a game for us. McGrandles perhaps but he would be struggling carrying that team.

We will go part time and then blame the rest of Scottish football for it.

we should be going part time...what is the point in staying full time when we go into every season praying for player sales to balance the books....we have heard since relegation how the overheads leave us in a perilous position...well we need to change the business go part time say "this is what we can afford to run as a sustainable part time team" & i guarantee the overheads will reduce exponentially....we will probably have a thousand fans who chuck it overnight so what...its not as if we use the bigger crowds we get than anyone else in the division (xcept the big 3 this year of course) to our advantage..there is no way this board ever intend to mount a serious challenge in this league all they are interested in is mitigating their personal losses. can we honestly say our plyers are that much better than dumbartons despite having four times their average crowd? i dont think so. i would rather pay enthusiastic part time wages than full time to charlatans like OTJ who doesnt try a leg

  8. Think u only need to look at results at St Mirren since his sacking to see he wasn't doing too bad a job at a much bigger club than ours. Would take him in a heartbeat if available.

Interesting so st mirren are a much bigger club than queens...yet you point blank refused to accept falkirk were a much bigger club than queens despite us having a bigger average than st mirren every season we were in the premier...interesting logic
