  1. You had a go at my post instead of the one I was criticising?

We're a bigger club than St Johnstone. I was saying that we should be competing with them and that where we are should not under any circumstances be accepted as "our level".

No mate I wasn't I was agreeing with your sentiments...I did however forget in my excitement to hit the quote button

  2. Utter utter cack....within five miles of the town there is a population of circa 170000 we are the poorest supported club by capita in Scotland ... Think about it Aberdeen is a city of around 300000 look at their crowds compared to us..falkirk & Dunfermline are similar sized clubs but fucking st Johnstone? You are at it

  3. Since we are going back in time we had every right to voice our concerns...we had our biggest budget ever which hughes spunked on jokers like mcann mcnamara & bullen....& of course BOB...he the survived by the skin of his teeth before fucking off to hibs. leaving a massive wage bill & not a lot to show for it...overall hughes done a lot right for us & will rightly go down as our "3rd or 4th best manager ever" :P but he lost the plot that season & we had every right to tell him so

  4. I was referring to Cowdenbeath champ. Regardless of next season's income boost they'll still operate on a financial scale well beneath that of Morton, due to a far smaller revenue base.

Not to mention the impact of Dunfermline and the tribute act sliding up the leagues, which will make this current window for part-time small clubs surviving in the Championship very brief indeed.

Dumbarton are the prime example of a very small part time club not only surviving but thriving at this level ...it's good for them obviously but proves how poor this division must be .....I don't think a part time club would survive in the conference for example

  5. I couldn't give a flying f**k what gary holt thinks all I know is that was another disjointed & at times hopeless performance. The team that ripped dundee apart has gone & we are left with trying to accommodate holts loan mistakes. Beck looks like he has never played football before in his life & chalmers is played out of position & done nothing positive. If holt is going to continue to play him he should play Kingsley ahead of him as he is far better on the ball.

  6. what difference does part time make in this league? there isnt much difference between the part and full time teams in terms of money or ability. look at morton for example of a full time team. I actualy dont mind watchin us this season compared to the last 2. yes we still lack imagination, lack any kind of a plan b but we can take teams apart when were doing well. so we might stutter a bit and loose a few games but we were fucking diabolical every game last season. These things take time.

What is the alternative realy? we cant realy afford any experienced manager. holt is doing alright for his first season. oh and dont bother with this shite about ritchie trying to kill the club and how we shouldnt have wasted all that money 7 year ago. we are where we are and need to deal with it.

why dont we go back to being part-time then? even the thought of it would have martin ritchie moist.as has been pointed out often we can only (occasionally) beat cowden out the lot of them. lets go back to part time & get ken eadie up front again

  7. Whilst I'm not Pressley's biggest fan, all three academy players you name came into the first team under his stewardship.

I don't think we could have afforded to sack BoB.

I agree we are better to watch this season, but a lot of that is the young players having a couple of years experience - combined with bringing back Millar. Who originally signed him for the club?

Yes you are right pressley signed Mark millar along with Jason marr I think we all remember the game where cardle ripped him a new arsehole...he also brought a young Tom grant into the side...I'm not saying he done nothing for us but you must surely agree he compared to what you are watching this season prelssley was a more negative manager than holt.
  8. "Aggression in the stadium" - when was this?

"Giving youngsters a chance" - this was forced on him because of his failure, when he had money to spend he used it on guys like Kenny Deuchar, Andy Haworth etc etc

Seems I'm boring people so I'll stop. People should not forget the damage he did to the club though, regardless of how much spin he puts on it.

I'll put it this way I have enjoyed this season far more than any since we got relegated gary holt plays attacking football recently it has benn working pressley set teams out not to get beat & then told me in his press conferences we were brilliant..we were shite most of the time playing negative pish..what should have happened on our relegation was getting BOB to f**k it was obvious to everyone he couldn't play the quarterback role ..I'm cringing at even saying that..we now have a new team from mostly academy boys who are locals mcgrandles Kingsley sibbald etc who I think all have a future in the game...to me mcgrandles is the star of this side and has everything a modern midfielder needs & I can't believe he hasn't been touted for a move

  9. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/coventry-city/10593628/Arsenal-v-Coventry-City-Rescue-specialist-Steven-Pressley-stays-true-to-his-principles-ahead-of-FA-Cup-tie.html

For anyone needing a good rage, here is the world's most self important man giving a mixture of lies, boasts and arrogance. Fucking w****r.

spot on the guy is arrogant beyond belief...which is fine when you`ve achieved things. are coventry still scoring lots of goals? if they are he must have changed his philosophy cause hes the most negative manager i can remember at falkirk...at least davie clarke had a go even if it was just an aerial bombardment

  10. Can't believe what am reading. Our team is by far one of the fittest in the league by a mile.

Strangely we had a more fitter squad under Pressley but everyone just boo'd and abused him

And he absolutely deserved the stick he got if for no other reason than his blatant misrepresentation of the facts..pathetic performances would be praised to the hilt & I was sick of him telling me I was seeing a performance that just wasn't there..

  11. I'd be more worried about your financies than onfield issues. Struggling to meet your payments for your pitch for starters.

really??? we were told it was funded by soft loans from directors...but if youd like to sell some of your JCB remoulds from your stock car track to help then that would be fine...we need help from junior teams with 200 fans

  12. We've brought in 250k which works out at about 5k a week over a season, plus freed up the space for Lyle's wages. Surely that should give us enough money to sign 3-4 players on 500ish a week?

Rory Loy is brutal, if we sign him it would be a terrible idea. A 25 year old striker who has scored a career total of 10 league goals, no thanks.

to be honest before tuesday i would have agreed with you...yes i know it was forfar but apart from fading in the latter part of the game i thought he was pretty good...his first touch was excellent especially when he killed it instantly from a high ball over his shoulder..took his second goal very nicely as well...did miss a bit of a sitter with about 15 to go but overall i think he is worth a second look at least

  13. Strange that a Falkirk fan would come on here having a dig at our crowds . I am sure if he worked out how many locals attend his home games per percentage of Falkirk and surrounding area population , then it would be very low , just as it is almost everywhere. I would rather congratulate all those that have resisted the `charms` of the green/blue/bigot/gloryhunters and back their home team. Our crowds have dissapointingly fell off a cliff since a high average of 2700 in 08-09. Shows how bad the problem in Scotland is when top of the First Division Morton got less than 2,000 for a recent home game

thats simply not true..the reason i posted anything on here at all is in responce to a poster who thought that your manager could take queens higher than falkirk & that queens could have a bigger support than falkirk. since you have all admitted after much bumbling around that he is indeed talking absoloute w**k then my work here is done...feel free to consistently ignore the season ticket question i asked you
