Is the ground segregated? Last time I was there we could sit in the massive stand
Sure it will be. You’ll get half the stand and the open terrace down the side and behind the goals.1 -
Some very worrying comments on here. Hasn’t been any violence at a Mo game for decades .. so not sure what’s going on. If Raith supporters got jumped it’s out of order and we need to weed out the dicks that did it.

Went along to this today. First half montrose were clearly the better team although didnt create too many clear cut chances. Second half there was not much it. Montrose dominated possession but raith handled them better. Montrose ran out of ideas.
Montrose are a good footballing team but lack a killer instinct. Raith looked very average but took 3 points which is the sign of a decent team.
Hopefully we cuff you next week
Think this pretty much sums it up. We completely dominated the first half but don’t have anyone up top who is a clinical finisher. Second half was more even. Not too down heartened as we’ll play worse and win this season. Tough game next week and we need to get something out of it.0 -
Well that was 2 hours standing in the pissing rain sandwiched between a 6 hour round trip well spent! As soon as i saw the team I knew we were in trouble. I can see that SP might want to give fringe players a run out. But to make that many .. and to change both centre halves with guys who haven’t played in months looked high risk .. and so it turned out. Well done Bonnyrigg, you played to your strengths and defended for your lives in the last 15 mins. Best of luck in the next round.

By any measure that was a pretty uninspiring game of football. Neither team deserved to win. A positive for us was 3 clean sheets on the bounce. Whoever threw the lighter should have been “dealt with” and then chucked out. Nobody needs/wants arseholes like that letting the rest of us down. As for the floodlight .. nearly shit myself when it blew.

How the ref hasn’t given a penalty for clear handball is poor . Ball clearly hits boys outstretched arm. Especially with new guidelines. Very same thing Clyde got a penalty against us in opening game of the season. Consistency I hear you say .
Watch it again in slow motion. Looks to me like it hits him smack in the face. In real time and at the game I admit it looked like a pen.0 -
The run continues[emoji3][emoji3]. Could’ve been 2 down in the first 5 mins but thankfully Danny Denholm had one of those days in front of goal. That said Webby nearly scored in the first 5 and Liam missed a sitter shortly after when 1 on 1 with the keeper. Pretty even after that until Winker robs a player in midfield and Webby rattles it home. Nearly scored again shortly after but Joel scuffed a great chance wide. Second half was like watching us in the promotion season .. solid and hitting on the break. We could’ve had a couple more. Aaron (he’s getting better every game) pulled of a great save to tip one over late on but other than that East Fife huffed and puffed without really threatening much. Thoroughly enjoyed that today .. let’s make it 6 on the bounce against the Bridie munchers next week.

Tommy Campbell .. complete and utter fkkwit .. and we’ve had quite a few over the years.

12 days too long , cheap option for the tracksuits though !
Commercial managers surely a new striker first rusty the clown isn’t the answer
Nah .. Rusty is your saviour .. [emoji6][emoji6]1 -
JW admitting that the players he has signed are guff.
Fkk me .. he’s completely lost it .. looks like a man adrift. Can’t say I’m too disappointed after what he did to us ... with the biggest budget we’d had in decades.1 -
If we finish 8th then I’ll be ok with that. Think we’ll be higher than that tho.

Great win today. Always great to watch the team not quite at their best but still manage to get there points. Have to say I was quite impressed with Stranraer at times, they were dangerous going forward and although Lennox didn't have to do too much they seemed a threat. Dillo and Ballantyne were brilliant at the back. Watson had a great game and Callaghan again shows us how much he has impressed over the last few months as he had a great energetic performance. Four wins in a row! Bring on five!
Think Liam deserves a lot of credit for turning things around. I was surprised he got a new contract but based upon the last month I was wrong.. I hope he kicks on.4 -
Of course we could play one of them at left back..you know the position that the club has failed to plug since Yano left?
I’ve been puzzled for a very long time why you let Andrew Steeves go. He’s probably the best left back in the league and has been a class act from the moment he arrived at LP.2 -
Strange game. We were well on top for the first 20 mins .. then fell away for the next 50 ... but once they scored we got on the front foot again and (just about) deserved the win (which should have been bigger but for poor final balls). Wouldn’t have grudged Stranraer .. who played some neat stuff when not humping ball the length of the park .. a point. They do look pretty toothless though. Didn’t think we were at our best today and one or two were a bit off the pace but still ground out the win. Cammy deserved MotM but for me Dillo came a close second. Some cracking passes and last ditch defending.

Well done to the boys today. I was getting worried but it looks like the corner has been turned with the last 3 results. Onwards and upwards!

Hang on he wasn’t playing for Montrose against the sons the last time at links park was he?! i remember a similar striker lining up against us and he was equally as stinking would make perfect sense if this was the same guy [emoji23]
That’s your man .. Christ knows why we signed him. SP must have seen something in him but he’s the only guy I’ve seen who retracts his neck when he jumps . starts out 6’ 4” jumps a foot and still ends up 6’ 2” off the ground. I really hope I’m wrong but I fear he’s a dud.1 -
Great three points for us today. Thought in the first half we were absolutely tremendous, high pressing attacking football. Tumilty and Frizzell gave the Forfar number 8 a torrid time of it. 3 great goals, a great header by Neil who won absolutely everything today and two wonder goals from frizzell who clearly adds a bit of quality and class to our side.
Second half was a slow start and I feared the imminent arse collapse when Forfar scored but in the end we comfortably saw it out. Great to see the players throwing themselves at the ball and showing great desire. I felt Hutton never played a bad ball all day, Langan provided some great dig in the midfield and quitongo really dug in and played through injury in the second half.
What are Forfar all about btw. Elbows everywhere, shirt pulling and just generally a bit of a gang. The big carthorse wearing number 9 could possibly be the worst striker I’ve seen in the league, Carswell had the cigars out all afternoon against him.
I’m guessing that the No 9 is “Big Rusty” on loan from us? With the addition of “laziest”, your description matches him perfectly!2 -
Good result today at a place we generally do poorly at .. is that us back on track? I wasn’t there but spent the afternoon nervously pressing refresh on the twitter feed and various apps. What was the story re the number of bookings .. and Martin’s red? On paper it looks like we kicked them off the park!

I wasn’t at the game so can’t comment on how it went but it’s refreshing to see a home support being generous when a result goes against them. We’ve had a bad start .. unlike Clyde .. but hopefully the corner has been turned for us. It was looking grim 2 weeks ago!

You’ve signed Mouhamed Niang (aka Sena) on-loan from us until January.

You did miss probably the best three goals we’ll score all season ..
And you’re right about no one attacking the ball at the back0 -
Spot on. How many times have I said exactly the same thing. Shouldn't really criticise Managers but in any team you MUST have a player whose only job is to attack the ball and damn well win it! With zonal marking, pushing and shoving there is always going to be one who breaks loose into space and bags one. If one defender attacked the ball instead there would be a much better chance of getting the ball away. Anybody in a dressing room listening?
On a bit of a sad note I missed my first league game of the season and we won today which makes me feel like a jinx - should I go to Clyde next week or not??
You did miss probably the best three goals we’ll score all season ..2 -
Well thank God for that finally 3 points on the board.Big performance and 3 points was needed and the side delivered,Blair Lyons and webby were my pick out the bunch both had a really good games. How on earth Jamie Stevenson never seen red near the end is absolute scandalous,17 for them also could have been off for a cynical foul on Blair both a cowards challenge and awful decisions from the man in black who was horrendous to say the least.
Overwhelming sense of relief after that. Thoroughly deserved the win but fkk me we don’t make things easy!! Defensively we are still all over the place .. how many goals is that we’ve lost from shit defending at crosses? .. and our central midfield is far too soft ... but three worldies got us over the line. I agree Stevenson should’ve walked .. no attempt to do anything other than send Blair into the stand .. not so sure about the earlier one .. although the boy knew what he was doing. The fact he got away with three more fouls without a second yellow was puzzling. Thought Liam had a great game .. has come in for a lot of criticism but today showed what he can do when he’s on it. Same again next week please. Peterhead were poor .. we gifted them all three goals and still managed the win. Can’t expect that too often. Last word .. well done Webby!!2

Think you’d get 300 in your bit of the stand. Pretty poor for ”the biggest team in the League” if that’s all you’re bringing! Either way it’s always sunny on the Cote d’Angus [emoji6][emoji6]
