Raith 1 or 2-0 Ayr. Let's just save ourselves a lot of wasted time.

3,000 home crowd today which i know had a good sized away support but still a really good home turnout presented with that shite viewing ain't exactly going to clamour them to returning quickly
It's awful. Can't get my head round why we play that way

It's boring to watch because you knew how it was going to pan out after 15 minutes
Pre match? I'd say maybe.

If Bullen comes out with anything about a flat crowd or having no energy in the post match interview I think it's very telling sign.
He can actually f**k off with that. Its Hopkin with better players and one striker who is being massively wasted

We are fucking boring to watch at home. As a non season ticket holder who goes every week its hard to justify it. At one point in the first half earlier both centre half's took turns at shelling free kicks in to their keepers arms unchallenged. Nobody else does that. It's so bad. Away games at least give a day out.

Results tonight went well, looking at the table tomorrow is huge for both sides.

A VERY quick check looks like Musonda played 27 times for Raith in 20/21 then 23 times in 21/22. I've got him down as 18 appearances for Ayr this season so doesn't look good to beat his best. It's a shame as he is a cracking player.
Re next season - we will still have Frankie and can probably assume he will give us half a season. I'd love to keep McGinty as the sort of '3rd choice CB but will almost always be needed' sort of role as this year. Doubt we would get Kirk back but you never know.
I'm not overly bothered though, back in May I'd never heard of Kirk and only very vaguely knew Musonda so I'm absolutely 100% confident the scouting team will have folk lined up. Their big decisions are at full back - that's where they need to be ruthless.

92 would have been the last time at parkhead .would love too get a trip and tick another ground off .them or hearts ..
Only time I've been at Tynecastle was 1998, was on the Valspar / Ayr Boswell u13/14s bus and we broke down at some point on way home. Lost 4-1 to a very good Hearts side, Finbogasson in nets having a stinker for one of their goals

I thought that was going to be McAlear’s role though
Same - will obviously give him time as he's clearly not fit and has done very well at this level before but he looks miles off the standard of McInroy for example

We’re well overdue Celtic home or away
When was the last time we had Celtic away? I've been going regularly since about 1992 and can't remember ever having them away. Seen us play them at home in mid then late 90's and also in the semi final at Hampden but can't ever remember going there

Did we just wait until extra time until we started to play, or did Elgin just get tired and make mistakes?
Both pretty much. Elgin were absolutely burst from about 75 mins on but it still didn't look like we were going to score.

Equaliser was incredibly harsh on Elgin. They looked the better side and should have had it sewn up by then. As soon as it went to ET it was an absolute stroll for us, they were dead on their feet.

We played a formation that barely worked for the last 4 months, with some players that haven’t performed consistently since October and performed as expected.
We really need a shake and I thought the loss to Queens Park might have given us it but it doesn’t look like it did.
This 100%. Set up the exact same today suggests he's sticking with it. Makes us rotten to watch and totally ineffective up front.

Having your away kit as a template that your nearest rivals use as their training kit is embarassing. Irrespective of who announced it first.
It won a fan vote where anyone could vote. Not just fans of the club. Had everyone voted for the grey kit like me then it wouldn't have happened.
How can that possibly embarrass you? We wore a strip that we won away to Killie in and ur finding fault - would 99% of the fan base even know it was a Killie training kit? I certainly wouldn't if it wasn't for folk on here.
Folk that get worked up about the strip are the embarrassment if you ask me. We will always have a black and white home one and a different away one. It's the players wearing it that matter. 5-1 win away at Morton in bright pink? Superb stuff. Even though half the crowd probably hated it

Interesting to see our lineup- we haven't played our strongest XI in any of the 7 Cup ties that we have played this season, with mixed results. After Friday's let down against Queens Park I'd like to see us go strong and hopefully get back on track - last couple of home games were pretty miserable due to weather / scrappy performances so would be good to get back to entertaining ways.

Yeah checked it. One match ban in specific competition so sent off in league, served in league. Only violent conduct, serious foul play or spitting at an opponent or official cross competitions to be served in next game .
Superb news, thank you for confirming. Gives us whatever the opposite of a goal head start is that Graham would have provided.

Foul and abusive language doesnt cross competition as far as I remember. So suspended v Ayr I think. Straight red?
Yeah straight red. Must have said something really naughty as was miles off the ball

I might know, if I knew what the question is. Who are we talking about and qhat's the circumstances?
Brian Graham, suspended v Rangers only or suspended v Ayr the following week. Red for foul and abusive language in a hilarious defeat to Cove yesterday.

Anyone know if his suspension is for the league or will it be served when they play rangers?
I thought it would be a 1 game ban which would be their Rangers game. Not sure though @Skyline Drifter will know.

Absolutely, when you consider that we’ve only taken 7 points from the last 6 league games
Partick lost to Cove at home. That's a David Bangala-less Cove. That we beat 8-0 going on about 20-0 last week. The absolutely 100% guaranteed Brian Graham goal aside, there's no way we shouldn't be pumping Partick in 2 weeks, especially as we should surely have just beat Elgin while they lose at Ibrox.

I'd still like to see us go back to 442. Its been pointed out a few times that the reason for going 3 in the middle was to give us extra control etc, but on Friday they swarmed us every time they attacked and crowded us out every time we did.

My point is that the only reason he is being linked with us is because he's been here before. His ability doesn't come into it, he isn’t actually needed. We've got an abundance of midfielders. Even if Murdoch were injured (hopefully speculation), is he the right replacement? I'm not convinced.
It's also not comparable to Moffat or Geggan at all. There was a need for both of them as we were building the 2017/18 squad in the summer and had just gone full time. I can't imagine any fan questioned bringing in either of them in at the time. Both having won League One and playing Championship football. If they did they had taken leave of their senses. No signing is a sure thing but that double signing of Moffat & Geggan was as close to a no brainer as you could get.
We do have a lot of centre mids, however Kerr McInroy is absolutely miles better than Michael Hewitt who currently had a starting attacking CM role, so if Murdoch is indeed injured for a while then its an absolute yes for me if there was any truth in the rumour.

We usually pretend there isn't but end up opening one anyway
Aye I couldn't remember If i was getting grounds mixed up but I'm sure at the last one there was a big queue at one turnstile as there was a problem with the scanners and another one open with nobody at it that I was able to walk straight up to and pay cash.

Does anyone know the playoff dates, or know when likely to be announced? I can only see the dates of the final on SPFL website
