A few years ago I was in America with my american football team at the time. We visited a middle school, and some of the questions the kids asked were outrageous:Saw a couple of American tourists take a picture of the Apple store in Buchanan St yesterday. Not even the building , just the door bit. Are they surprised that Scotland has one of these* ?
*ETA : An apple store , not a door.
"Do you have planes in Scotland?"
"Do you have electricity in Scotland?"
"If you call a vacation a holiday, what do you guys call Christmas?"

Disgraceful! Although to be fair, it's a lot easier to post on this thread than it is to write a letter of complaint to Oracle.
Mental now to think back at how useful teletext was. Sitting for ages, staring at the screen as it scrolled through the pages, to find the result of a pitch inspection, only to find the dreaded red "P-P" in place of the yellow "v"

Agree with all except this. We were arguably closer to qualification in the Euro 2008 campaign (a win over Italy away from direct qualification)

I think the poster's point was that whilst he isnt bothered about a move to halal meat it seems a bit overkill to remove a food item from a menu that those who can't eat it on religious grounds wouldnt eat anyway.
