I don't think any neutral here is hurt or shocked by the kitmans antics, everybody is pishing themselves laughing at him and your club collectively losing their heid on Saturday.

FWIW, I'd want any employee sacked if they were acting like that after a defeat. He's on the pitch fighting with opposition players and he fucking washes the strips

Based on that line I Should now be calling for at least 3 of their players to be sacked for their gestures to away fans at the end which were given without any provocation …. As someone else said get a grip ffs.

Honestly does my box in when folk see that on Saturday and try and support/justify it. Clyde are a joke and have been for a long time. The literal last thing needed now is that stupid big arsehole causing it at full time, making the club look worse. To have so little self awareness at this point is absolutely wild. We’ve finally got a good manager in, good coaches and a decent squad to try and make the best of the situation, and this Ebbo dipshit goes tonto  Unbelievable. Boys a big wet blanket.

If you’re McCall, you’re surely having a sit down with him and keeping him away from the park if you can’t sack him for whatever reason. He should be gotten rid of though. It’s not his job, he can be dispensed and someone would 100% volunteer to do it until the end of the season and do a stand up job.

Don’t recall your post having a go at our assistant manager for getting sent off for foul & abusive language. Picking on the ‘big heavy guy’ easy target.

The last time QP were there, some young Stranraer "lads" were looking for trouble in the car park. One of the women who worked in the wee bar was heading home and told the top boy to get up the road or she'd be onto his mum to tell him what he was up to. He got up the road.

Sadly it’s not wee kids but adults now who should know better. If the old Bill had to taser one of the arseholes I’d hate to think what Cosmic Joe thinks isn’t a pile of shite😜

This guy man. The term 'Oaf' has never suited someone more. I'm all for a bit of noising up opposition fans but doing it after you've been beat and look like you're on the verge of tears is just pathetic.

You weren’t there, so you don’t know the facts. Guy should more passion than our esteemed chairman has done for the past 2 years. The camera of course will not have picked up the Stranraer fans attacking a wee lassies’s dad 5 mins into the game  or their vicious attack with weapons outside the ground, or their  team walking to the away end to gesture to the away support that they had ‘humped us etc’ or that they wanted to fight with half the Clyde team anytime they were tackled. In this world of click bait you should be careful who you vilify.

So it seems there is indeed a live attempt to replace the board and while I understand why there may be a drive for this, it does raise alarm bells for me.

I may be way off the mark here but can anyone involved give any assurance that they will have a relationship with the recent benefactor and that he will work with the potential new people or walk away in support of the existing board who he has been negotiating with.

Also concern that at a critical time in the Crownpoint bid, do the proposed new group have the current knowledge to continue negotiating with present partners and supporters of our bid, given what seem they have created good rapport with many involved, do they have the expertise to move if successful, to implement the business plan and the necessary construction business case to progress? It’s a huge undertaking.

I have No association with current nor the “new group” but as I say I am worried about the timing, personally I think now Duffy is gone there should be a period of reflection at least until the Crownpoint bid is decided as I fear any further disruption will have a catastrophic effect on that.

I’m sure many may feel that such a change is required and that’s their view, frustrated as we all are, I simply think it’s not the time… even a 3 month cooling off period may be prudent. I will look out my tin hat now for any reply. As I say I am like most on here just a long time supporter and owner.

I understand your wariness of change now, but 3 month cooling off period is most likely to see us with one foot in the Lowland league as the current squad is nowhere near good enough. The mystery benefactor is as much a mystery as the proposed new investors. While those wanting change are asked to reveal all, it seems the current Board can hide their hand. There in lies the problem. If Mr or Mrs X exists they have a right be anonymous but the Board have a duty to let members know what deal they have cut.

Sorry to intrude, first up declared point of order. Back in the Shawfield days , was a ball boy. Biggest memory was a bus back from an away game. No idea why I was on  the bus, I grew up that night with the antics.

Agree some of the Stirling Uni players are excellent.  Problem is they play in  British Universities Legue as well as Lowland plus training daily and studying . Also state of the art facilities and fitness and conditioning programmes.  They are lucky boys, moving on not a big attraction for them I suggest, anywhere.

Wouldn't presume to know the answer to your current situation.  That said, from personal experience,  tapping in to the depth of support and passion for the Club, make that the focus. Personal criticism,  boycotts,  factions etc  are counterproductive.  Maybe have an open meeting , EGMs too constrained by rules and regulations.

Let everyone who has an interest,  probably more than you might think, come along , have a say and try to agree a way forward for a Club that means so  much to so many.

I totally agree that would be the sensible way forward but, the Chairman/Board have battened down the hatches and actioned radio silence. The only way they will engage with the fans in a formal way is if the Members of the club call for an EGM. For a Board that has ‘fans’ on it, they don’t communicate with the guys they left on the terraces.

We need a new friendship derby with Berwick being away. Are you guys wishing to take on the mantle? I know we may have gotten off on the wrong foot with a few but I think we can get past it and build something beautiful.

Already started. Was away last week at a doo which included a good Raith lad. Neither of us could make yesterday but planning to meet up for return leg....... #lanarkshire/fife alliance

  8. on the question of the budget ... I think it may be gone, going by the latest announcement that they want you to pay a £5 for the privilage of having a drink now in the Arria and you have to pre-book if they have not sold all the hospitality.

So your Season ticket gets you F' all apart into the games now.

The Arria brought the fans together last year, but now this is only going to create a division with those who can afford .....

Sorry, this season is starting to look like a complete downer before we are off an running.

  9. So the Sweet F*ck All and their lackey's were aware of what Clyde were doing but kept Stumm..... then took great delight in imposing the most draconian penalty ever handed out for fielding an amateur player, while admitting their own admin does not include for checking team lines etc on a timely basis which begs the question as to how they can insist on clubs adhering to rules which by their own admission they don't bother checking..... that's what I take from the statement.

My opinion has not changed...... F*ck the SFA & the SPFL

Yes they will be on their knees once the small clubs breakaway!

Serious question....... are you happy with your teams position in the Scottish game? Why do we have the farcical 10 team leagues..... not to suit the 'wee' teams but to suit the Bigot brothers, and their hangers on.   By Wee teams I mean everybody outwith those 2 & their cousins from auld  Reekie.

  11. Let's just quit the in- fighting. I'm no lover of certain folks on the board but anyone can make an honest mistake. The SFA are so corrupt it wouldn't have made any difference what we said..only today the Dons chairman has called for transparency in the Scottish game. The Sweet F*ck All are only interested in money...... if you have it they will pander to you, if you don't they will kick you in the balls. This fine has nothing to with one player...... this is there retribution to giving them the 2 fingers over 2 earlier incidents which they could do nothing about. They are a slimey self serving organisation, who claim to do things for the good of Scottish football, but will sell home live internationals to a to company which prevents a lot of Scots from seeing their national team, just because it pays much more money than a national terrestrial station...... that is the kind of association it is. If anything we should be looking for the smaller teams to threaten a breakaway to put the Sh*ters up them!

Seem to remember at the time SFA/SPFL saying it was up to clubs to monitor suspensions & the like even although they were in charge of handing out punishments so cannot see why when rules are set out they would not expect clubs to follow them

It is incumbent on the ruling body to check team lines in a timely manner. Clyde  admitted the mistake which seems to have arisen due to the change in how Junior and Senior players are treated in respect of the transfer window.

Had Clyde signed Messi, played him under an assumed name and he scored a hat-trick in each game the punishment would fit the crime; but he was an untried centre half playing in a the junior leagues whose parent club was Clyde and was played as a makeshift centre forward. He also scored nada goals.

It seems if you are in a certain league under SPFL your punishment is different, had Hearts been fined, had all 3 points deducted and a 3-0 walkover given to Cove then there was the possibility that they would not have qualified from that group.  What's the missing element in the above..... money pure and simple, or to be more specific keeping the cup sponsor happy. god forgive we have cup shocks like down south..... that would never promote the game in Scotland.

Easier to punish Peterhead, Clyde and Bogstandard Boys Club and look as if  you are strict legislators of the game........ the classic politicians smoke & mirrors

    There is a cash turnstile

Is there something missing from the official site post then....

Starting with Saturday's visit of Edinburgh City, supporters will be able to enter home games at Broadwood using the contactless card facility.

Home turnstiles E and F have been designated as 'cashless' entry points and Clyde fans should be prepared to use their credit or debit cards, to tap on the readers which will be used by the turnstile operators. Apple Pay and Google Pay will also be accepted. Cash entry will not be available at these two turnstiles.

Turnstile E will be designated as 'fast entry' with adults only going through this entry point, while turnstile F will accommodate both adult and concession entries.

Clyde fans unable to use this facility should go to the ticket window (adjacent to turnstile C), where adult and concession tickets can be purchased for cash.

Season tickets can be redeemed at any of the three turnstiles; D, E and F.

Club owners wishing to access the Arria Lounge should use the ticket window as above and then follow normal Arria accreditation procedures via the main door.

The above measures are designed to speed up entry in due course, remove the need for cash handling at the turnstiles and reduce matchday costs. The club would therefore appreciate the co-operation of supporters with this initiative.

You don't see it any quicker? No need for change to be given 14 pound most people arrive with 15 or most likely 20 or they hand over a tenner and four coins all of which need to be counted in and out
Vast majority of people in shops pay contactless and you can buy a ticket if you like. Why not see how it goes first I'm sure Saturday there will be some hiccups but on the whole think it's a good idea also saves handling cash for vast majority of punters

Not against it, but just don't see the time saving factor which is one of the reasons they are bringing it in. Why not still have a cash turnstile as well which would make it quicker  faster for those not using this modern method, rather having them stand in 2 Qs?

another thought I have had is, what if you are being signed into the Arria with a season holder. Does the ticket window take contactless, or do you still need old fashioned cash?!!

Innovative but don't see how this will speed up entry except for those who can/wish to use a credit card: those who do not possess the dreaded plastic, or do not wish to use it for such trivia having to first Q at a window then enter via a turnstile will surely increase the entry time?  As for matchday savings, you still need the same number of turnstile operators unless they will now be volunteers: you now have to have vouchers printed for those who don't use card, which you didn't have before; it also looks as if the usual methods will still be employed for away fans which may encourage some supporters without colours to enter via that route if the Q at the window is taking too long.

Innovative as I said, just don't see any difference being made and you are now at the mercy of an internet connection.

To be honest, I think the decline started before that.
The EK Clyde thing is no longer on the table. This, Broadwood and the board, I'm afraid to say, are being used as an excuse for fans that probably wouldn't attend anyway.

I've no issue with fans not going for any reason but to continually find excuses when none are required annoys me.

I go to the games because I support Clyde. I don't support the board, Broadwood or Cumbernauld.

I don't claim to be a better fan, I don't claim to be more loyal. I just enjoy watching Clyde.

Hd can't fault you for just wanting to go and watch Clyde and not bother about anything else but the name change and leaving /not leaving the ice station are not excuses but facts that happened and caused people to chuck it.

Many also see it as the only way they can register a protest against what they see as mismanagement by the Board. If you contually turn up and don't protest then you get the status quo, which at the moment is seriously woeful football, and no hope for the future. Alternatively you can turn up, protest and be ejected by the yellow jacket brigade on instructions of the Club ( essentially the Board).

The whole supporters owned club thing was also a sham designed to get the move EK ratified as quickly as possible. I was aware of EK before the initial meeting where they dissolved the shares and set up the Community club.

My contention has always been, had those setting up the Supporters owned club, truly wanted to engage with all fans, membership would have been included with a season ticket, as it is at other member clubs, or at least at £10 or £20.

The statement at New Year provides no further evidence of a Board with any clear direction or plan which, as I have already said is one step away from the END.

    Sad but true.
