You have no clue about football if you think that was a great game. The best player was a guy who can't even make the grade at Hibs, who are a solid bottom 6 Premier side.

Everyone who watched the game thought it was great. You and only you and it’s always you who thinks differently. You watched Bolton though so your comments are as credible as ever.

I've watched some of the play off QF and both sides are utterly atrocious. St Johnstone must be laughing their heads off at the prospect of the play offs.

Another howler of a take from yourself. Great game, counter attacking at pace, Megwa a standout and too very good teams.

Aye, I’m sure St Johnstone are laughing their c0cks off…I know they score a goal about 1 in every 3 games but I’m sure they’ll just give any team from the Championship a riding.

Peculiar guy you are…plenty negative guys in the south stand albeit a lot less this season..difference is they don’t post on here. I think the previous poster is right ..P&B is your hobby.

Chris Cadden who to be fair has been very good since returning from injury.

Megwa however looks superb based on tonight’s evidence, looks like he’s developed a lot this season, would be more than happy for him to spend another year at Airdrie as he’s clearly coming on leaps and bounds.

He’s been standout for every time we’ve played them. Kept a technically talented player in Easton quiet.

    5-0

    Backed it at 14/1

That resembled the team we seen more of at the start of the season.

Ball down and some lovely football. Really enjoyed our play down the left with McGill and Turner.

Good confidence builder and nice to see Hamilton with a goal too.

Only blight on the night was Corr. Feel really sorry for the lad, waited all season for his chance, gets in and takes it, all for another innocuous injury to write him off.

Good luck next season Arbroath. Think a wee clear out and start again required on that squad along with getting your manager punted.

3-0 Raith. McIntyre straight down the tunnel without acknowledging the travelling support. David Gold and Aaron Steele the only players that come over to thank the support

I’ll be disappointed if it’s not at least 3-0. We’re not playing well currently but this should be a team full of players who’re fighting for a spot in the playoff game, vs a team who most likely would rather not bother.

    5-0

  6. Pessimistic view but it’s hard to see where play-off success will come from based on current result and more crucially performances.

Whilst dead rubber yesterday and the omissions of some key players we created very little. A theme that’s been going on for some time now.

At one end we’ve got KD pulling off multiple fantastic saves every game, yet we don’t seem to be doing the same up top.

I find it a bit alarming Murray doesn’t know his best team and that we have little obvious patterns of play.

I won’t be upset with Championship football next season as it’s set to be a belter of a league. Would just be nice to have a wee spell in the top flight again, it’s a been a while…

yep, Partick will give them a harder game IMO

Every chance. You know we’re not that good..which makes the hard work you made of the title a little embarrassing at your end. Least you got your multiple pitch invasions though for winning the 2nd tier. I fully expect us to be horsed out the playoffs…anything more would be a very welcome surprise but Championship football is absolutely alright with me.

  8. Irrespective of how this second half pans out we look rotten and have done for a while.

Zero game plan, no identify, power puff in midfield, fullbacks are league 1 standard.

Just hoofs up the park 90% of the time.

I’ve only missed Hamilton and Morton away this season including all friendlies and diddy cup games. Just couldn’t bring myself to head for this after those rank 3 homes games on the spin.

Playing like this we’ll get ridden in the playoffs.

  9. Another tough day watch that today.

I’m hoping the team can pull a bit of form as we hit the playoffs.

Some nice spells at times but the erratic passing and gifting up possession is really poor..is part of the issue that Murray chops and changes every week?

We don’t score goals and the chances seem to be drying up. Home atmosphere is horrific also…where did all the young team go?

Lose on Saturday and there's a decent chance that we'll finish 3rd and play Airdrie first up in the playoffs. We all know how that will end.

Murray still has lots to prove. I've seen nothing to suggest he's any more than an average manager at best and his squad building is all over the place. I certainly wouldn't trust him with next season's budget.

You’ll most likely get slated for that post but there’s some element of truth in there.

I’d absolutely give him next season regardless of what happens now BUT if I see more midfielders coming in and that back line isn’t sorted then I couldn’t stomach it.

Dabrowski needs competition and as Country Bumpkin mentioned - what’s our plan in attack with Hamilton.

Its a weird one, we're 2nd in the league, comfortably our best season in many years and yet we're 4 games to go, with more questions about the team and line up than we have answers. You'd think after 32 games we'd have a proper plan and a half decent back up. Yet, we seem to have neither.

We have to decide what we want to do with Hamilton on the park. Either we surround him with players that want to get in behind on his flick ons (Easton and Connolly are not those players) or we play off him to feet and get him to stretch defences and bring others into play, or we cut losses and let him go in the summer.  Rudden is chaos, doesn't ever feel like he's got the ball under control, no one knows what he's going to do. Probably not the answer as an alternative.

We have to sort out the defensive option, we're a shambles at times. Brown struggled tonight against Todorov and its no surprise, he'll give better players trouble. We've got defenders sitting on the bench getting no look in. Our fullbacks don't attack, we know this, we've known all season, yet we play as if we expect them to be forward.

We need to sort the midfield, again tonight the gap between midfield and defence was massive at times and Frizzell twice exploited it easily and scored two good goals. Byrne is very slow in covering and Matthews was clearly being asked to man mark and press their ball carriers. It didn't work. Similar to Hamilton, we either figure out how to get the best out of Connolly, or again, cut losses in the summer.

We are all over the place, not a good position to be in going into what is guaranteed to be our toughest stretch. A loss against Thistle and we're on two tough away games, we could be fighting for 2nd by the time Arbroath come to Starks in May.

Nailed it and articulated a lot of what I think.
