You know, in roughly ten years of bickering with people on the internet, I've been accused of being obsessed with America, the nation's wars, individual websites, bloggers and columnists, George W Bush, thieving bankers, the Tory Party, the Labour Party, the BNP, the DWP, Israel, the Palestinians, crap console games, good console games, authors, libertarians, 9/11 Truthers, Scottish Nationalists and many, many more.
What all these people had in common when they used the word obsessed was that they were deploying some pretty weak arguments, and I was refusing to concede ground because I thought I was right. I can be a right dick about things, in those situations.
I've long suspected that either a) I'm a really, really argumentative person who likes bickering or b) people deploy the word obsessed when they kind of think you're wrong, but lack the basic savvy required to explain why.
Recently though, I've realised that both are true.
Posting on here about us just before you say your going to your kip and then posting again at 7 in the morning in my book makes a tad obsessed.

Good for you ,and i hope unlike some of your fellow celtic fans you dont turn your back on your team net season because of a 3rd division team that you dont care about.No problem, but it's in a wider context than my involvement with Celtic, it's been a superb season for me, the games against Barcelona the high point so far, Rangers making an arse of Scottish football as well as themselves is the disappointing part

As I was writing it I honestly wondered who would respond with that and in what formCeltic are in a difficult position in the SPL, I was reading the H ghosts post about a uncompetitive SPL on the SPL board (it's a couple of forums up from this one
)The SPL is the most competitive it's been for years for the vast majority of clubs, 2nd place is the real race, losing will it either be Celtic or your mob for champions has really only affect us

I said the SFA/SPL and co did their job well, they kept a team in blue playing in Ibrox for financial reasons, but if you lot think yesterday was some sort of victory, you are sadly mistaken.

Provided that's the full extent of it and Celtic get back to minding their own, I'd say that's not too bad, considering. I'd rather they'd just noted the result, but you can imagine how previous owners would've responded to events like this.

That is not how it reads at all and you know it.
LNS make it clear that Dual Contracts simply did not exist and this is what the tribunal was really all about, the payments were all declared, the Rangers directors were worried they were breaking the rules perhaps, but it actually turns out they were not.

Some of the payments were clearly adminstered correctly and these ones show clearly how the scheme worked, Nimmo is 100% happy that it was all above board and legal even though these players were recieving EBT`s, it was not hidden, however some of the players had missing paperwork but Nimmo can clearly see that nothing dodgy was going on here, he has accepted that the way players were being paid was completely legal.
Side contracts simply did not exist, the rules in regard to this simply were not broken thus no unfair advantage was gained on the field of play and this is what would have confirmed cheating, you can bleat on about this in denial for as long as you want, it really will make no difference, deep down you know it, its over, accept it and move on.

Fingers crossed for a credible guilty verdict and appropriate title stripping punishments. Anticipating a fudged 'sort of guilty with slap on wrist naughty step' verdict and a 'please can we all move along now' message. This will be interpreted up by all Rangers / Sevco as We Wur Innocent. GIRFUY, WATP etc etc. No real Sporting Integrity in watching a club rack up titles by having a squad which was way beyong their financial means if they had properly registered and remunerated them as per the rules that everyone else adhered to. I paid a lot of money over the seasons to watch a rigged competition, and - to quote someone else earlier in the thread - That's The Bottom Line!
