  1. Haha no beef with him, just pointing out how good mcinally is, unless there’s another reason? and how am I to think and lithgy supporter would be so knowledgeable about Peterhead?
  2. And yet Edinburgh City are still above you in the league and you can’t get out of league 2. something not quite right somewhere.
  3. you haven't been at the bottom since the introduction of the pyramid, so why the need to change things to avoid the bottom? as it stands, the lowland league and highland league have made very little impact on the leagues. only edinburgh city have made it up, and they then struggled for a couple of seasons although they have started this season well enough so far. point is, league 2 is clearly a higher standard than the leagues below and QP are currently 1 of the better teams in it so why gamble and change when you are obviously capable of competing well in your current format?
  4. Was only 6 then bud, didn’t even realise Cowdenbeath had a team at that age!
  5. I feel for QP fans in that it’s been a huge uncertainty over the stadium and their future. That’s not a nice situation for anyone to be in. However, the end decision is absolutely the right 1. Scotland needs a national stadium and Hampden is it. Glasgow is where it should be and no amateur/ part time or whatever side should be playing on it every 2nd week in front of 500 fans. Really hope lesser hampden is done up to make it an attractive venue for the lower leagues. I quite like Stirling Albions ground, a tidy example. I may even visit to see Cowden play, something I did once many years ago and wouldn’t be in a hurry to repeat again at the big Hampden.
  6. Have to agree. Until the howler by the goalie, I thought you were dreadful. Based on last night alone, you would certainly struggle in league 1.
  7. Would it matter if he was, Ayr wouldn’t play him anyway.
  8. yeah was on the more 'solid' side in recent years.
  9. whats happened to mccord? was a good player at alloa and decent enough when he joined yourselves.
  10. No wonder Nelly thinks this about you. The facts are it’s a message from him and nothing to do with me. And for your information I’m neither seething nor celebrating. Relief and a little happiness. grow up.
  11. Was a message from Nelly to jake nothing to do with me, he asked to use my phone. i take it here’s some history between nelly and jake?
  12. Get it into u ya little pleb. See u next season! Not stirling YOU. p***k love nelly x
  13. 5 wins in 8 days, won’t hear of that very often!
  14. Have heard a few times that Kelty have a club mentality that they are village side who are humble, with a work ethic and teamwork etc. Looked today that it was LTHV who worked harder for the greater good of the team. have to hand it to the them to dig in like that for their 3rd game in 4 days. No coincidence 2 boys went off injured first half either, by next Saturday they may be struggling to field a team with all these games. that said, Kelty should not have lost, they have only themselves to blame. have to get the finger out and finally produce against LTHV who are becoming a serious bogey team. today showed the limitations of the diamond midfield, hopefully next week shows their strengths.
  15. its cowden316 he is a supporter not a board member.
  16. cowden cowboy has aways been a cowden fan, as were his father and grand father im sure iv read before. all the 'cowden are bluenoses' banter is pretty pre-historic to be honest, and comes from a league 2 forum that moan about others not moving on from sectarian views. he also has a very analytic manner which differs from most on here who are more to the point. anyway, cowden cowboy is definitely not 1 of the reasons scottish football is considering this scenario, so time to move on, there are real targets better concentrated on.
  17. even if we (cowden) got a 200k payment, we would still be at the bottom of the wages pile, the least attractive club to come and play for, the team fans least liked to spectate at and basically in the same hole we are currently in. the rest of the league would have the same payment so we would be no better off really, except for the short term ability to pay the wages/bills without cash flow concerns.
  18. not sure how a successful season a few years ago in the bottom league equates to a good appointment? a definite gamble of a choice for me.
  19. That's good from his position, especially as he's carrying 1and a half people around the park. also sadly highlights the total lack of quality forwards in the division if only 2 people have scored more than 13 in a season.
  20. We are set up to not get humped and also won't dish out humpings. If we played each other 10 times, 8 or 9 of them would be very close. fair chance of a draw.
