  1. It's madness IMO to let players as good as Foster and Graham go for free, it just isn't on. I don't understand it atall Can only hope all of this is to free up funds to bring in some real quality.
  2. Turning into a terrible transfer window. Losing Irvine, Foster and now Graham, huge blows to the squad. Hope McIntyre knows what he's doing because at present that squad just isn't near good enough.
  3. Not happy we have let him go. He is a consistent performer, comfortable at FB or Wide Midfield, as shown in the derby last weekend. Like others I'm disappointed in the squad management this summer, we are woefully short in midfield and have now lost one of our best defenders. If this was all part of freeing up wages for a new midfielder it may make sense, but I would much rather see Boyd go.
  4. A defensive midfielder going by a quick google search. Just we need.....
  5. Just what we need on the eve of a new season, players and management divided. Let's hope it can be resolved quickly. In my opinion Boyd should have been released long ago, he is passed it at this level. If getting rid of him sorts out these issues plus free's up the budget for some more players, then its a no brainer as far as I'm concerned.
  6. Crimson Tide - 9/10. Love this film, Gene Hackman is superb in it as is Denzel Washington. Star Trek Beyond - 8/10. Enjoyed it more than the other two recent ones. Plenty of action and a good story.
  7. Cant believe that. The sale of Jackson alone would surely free up some funds. Getting a bit concerned with how the squad is shaping up, we look very light in CM and in the wide positions. Edited to add, whats the craic with this "Jim v Boyd" issue, have I missed something?
  8. Still pretty disappointed with the lack of activity in the transfer market. The squad is crying out for some midfielders IMO, plus if McIntyre is going to insist on 3 at the back we need more wingbacks
  9. The league kicks off a week Saturday and we have just conceaded 3 goals to Alloa? Worrying to say the least when you consider McIntyre prioritised strengthening the defence. IMO we are deseperate for a couple of wingers and a decent CM or two. McIntyre and co must surely realise this. We can't go into a new campaign with what we have now.
  10. Couldn't make the game today. Disappointed at the result in the end and by the way we played going by the match reports. Expecting some first team signings next week, a winger and a decent central midfielder.
  11. All gone a bit quiet on the transfer front. No news? Looking at how the squad is shaping up I still think we are short of wingers. Assuming we are going to set up in a 4-4-2 formation next season the only players we currently have who could play wide right and left are Gardyne and Franks. I dont like the prospect of Foster or Dingwall out wide in midfield.
  12. Brilliant episode, really looking forward to watching it for a second time. The Northern Lords proclaiming Jon as the King of the North was just an amazing scene. Looks like its all going to kick off next season with Dany finally getting her arse across the narrow sea.
  13. That was exceptional. Actual scenes when the Vale turned up to f**k the Boltons over.
  14. Just thinking ahead to the 'Battle of the b*****ds. Will a large part of the Bolton army not consist off the remainder of Rob Starks army? I.e ( Stark men). Just thinking of a scenario whereby parts of the Bolton's army upon seeing Starks across from them on the battlefield turn coat and join John. Can see the most likely scenario being one of the houses turning on the Boltons or the Knights of the Vale riding in to save the day. Its the only way John wins.
  15. Any craic from the supporters meeting the other night?
  16. Seems we have also signed David Brownlie. A CB from Rangers U20's. Pleased to see County making early moves in the market to sort out the defence. All we need now is some decent wingers.
  17. Good read that. Hoping we get a series or two based on Robert's rebellion once the current story concludes.
  18. Jon and the wilding army to be on the brink of defeat against the Bolton's when Littlefinger and the knights of the vale ride in to the rescue. Scenes if this happens.
  19. Brilliant battling display whatever happens here. Anyone know who that bald guy is in Murrays corner? New coach?
  20. Not entirely. Unless I'm mistaken, the only forces loyal to the Lannisters in Kings Landing just now are the Kings Guard. Whose numbers are probably more than matched by the Faith Militant. My hope is that Jamie calls in the Lannister armies and we finally see the back of the old c**t and his followers.
  21. Either way its going to be a big pre-season for Boyce. He needs to get himself fit and ready to go again. Since coming back from the hand injury he has looked a different player, this being backed up by his woeful goal return.
  22. I really enjoyed it (ending aside) that was something else altogether and not in a good way either 😷. No idea what it means. Really interesting developments in Dorne though, looking forward to seeing what happens next. Hoping for an all out war against the Lanisters.
  23. Interesting to read that he played in a deeper role against Northern Ireland, in front of the back four. This a position he has been playing in for the Sporting B team?
  24. Was thinking throughout the attack on the saviours base that this was way too easy. Was not expecting it to end like that though.
