Broomhill 1 East Kilbride 0 a full-time score in the Lowland League Cup.

Trip to play Broomhill for the BU's in the quarter finals. Date still to be decided but sure 5/6 March was mentioned.

Hold that. The Lowland League site is not updated.

Great Twitter post from Albion Rovers re B team vote , wish BU would post the same .

    Get them out .

BUs have consistently voted no to the B teams and will do so again this time. Good to know Albion Rovers are against them and if Linlithgow the same it may tilt the balance for a no vote.

I was too far away to have an opinion on Saturday. Just watched highlights, and in view of all the jersey tugging that the ref let go, the red card seemed at odds with his previous/further decisions. I think that Napier’s failure to progress up the leagues justifies the opinion I have that he was a poor referee when we played Glencairn, and he was no better on Saturday.

He's a grade 1 ref and officiates the Premier League

I went along to the game today with my son. I thought Bo'ness were well worth their victory today.

Some decent defending once the back 5 settled down and the keeper kept the score level with some good saves.

Didn't seem to be too many complaints from Darvel when the penalty was awarded, looked a stonewaller even from the other end of the ground. Great save by the keeper again early in the second half to keep the score at 1-0.

Nice run by the big no 9 (Dalziel?) to make the space for the no 7 to run into and strike the ball low and hard into the corner though the keeper seemed to go down in instalments.

The 3rd goal was well worked and there's just something about a move that results in one full back crossing and the other full back scoring

Hoping Bo'ness get a home draw in the next round as I would love to go back.

It was also really good to see the number of kids on the pitch at half time, is that a normal thing?

The community club kids are there only occasionally

He reffed Camelon v Newtongrange in the last round where he had a decent game. He knew most of the players in that by their first name as well.

I'm planning to go to Newtown Park (is it still called that?) with my son for the game today, how much will admission be and will it be cash only?

    Concession £5

£8 adults. Not sure about the concession.  Cash only

Weather looks good.  After a very sunny morning the game will be played under white clouds with hardly any breeze.....so it will be a proper Fitbaw match and not a wet and windy lottery

I am predicting a classic as the plucky BU underdogs weakened by absences and injuries edge past the highly financed massed hoors of Darvel.

    Mon the BU's !!!

    That'll do me fine
