  1. Hill of Beath 0 v 2 Linlithgow Rose (11/05/13) - League

Totally dominant performance by the Rose on a very soft surface. Score line could, and should, have been much more convincing. Missed the first goal as I had to move to get an unobstructed view, but watch the second goal - another goal of the season contender.

  2. Linlithgow Rose 3 v 0 Newburgh (29/04/13) - Fife and Lothians Cup

The unbeaten run continues with a comfortable victory over a battling Newburgh. A good team with some pacy, skilful players who made us work hard for the victory, especially in a tight first half.

    Linlithgow Rose 7 - 0 Lochee United (27/04/13) - League

The match that tied up the league title for the Rose for the first time since 2007. Watch the goals for a potential goal of the season from Smith.

  4. Linlithgow Rose 3 v 2 Bo'Ness United (02/03/13) - League

Here's the highlights from the game. I only have four of the five goals as my camera threw a wobbly just before Herd scored a beauty to put Rose 2-0 up.

  5. Linlithgow Rose 3 v 2 Bo'Ness United (02/03/13) - League

Here's the goals and highlights from the game. I only have four of the five goals as my camera threw a wobbly just before Herd scored a beauty to put Rose 2-0 up.

Also, I split this into two posts as inserting the picture links only seems to handle two in a post, not the three I have. So, Goals here and highlights in the next post.

  6. Tranent v Linlithgow Rose (23/02/13) - Fife & Lothians Cup

Poor Rose performance against a Tranent team who played a great game, though they were hanging on a bit at the end. Didn't get the Tranent goal as it was at the other end of the park from me and my view was obscured by a few players.

  7. Linlithgow Rose 2 v 0 Broxburn (09/02/13) - League

Rose make it 14 wins and a draw out of 15 league matches with a hard-fought 2-0 victory over Broxburn. Missed main part of the first goal but worth watching for another Roddy special, with a skillful assist from Tank, for the second.

This new "link" setup doesn't work with the second half highlights, so you'll have to click through to my channel, below, if you want to see them. There was nothing wrong with the old "link" dialog, so why change it?

  8. Arthurlie 2 v 4 Linlithgow Rose (26/01/13) Junior Cup

Another great display from the Rose with some cracking goals. Shame I missed the second Arthurlie goal as it was as good as any of the earlier goals.

(except the last goal as the ball came out of a corner I couldn't see to react quickly enough to.)

  9. Carnoustie 0 v 2 Linlithgow Rose (05/01/13) - League

One of the toughest battles so far in our unbeaten start to the season in all competitions.

    Camelon 0 v 2 Linlithgow Rose (12/01/13) - League

Definitely the hardest fought victory of the season. You have to feel sorry for the Camelon keeper for the second goal. I bet he wishes there hadn't been a camera there.

  10. Linlithgow Rose 2 v 0 Musselburgh (27/10/12) - League

Rose completely dominated the first half, but lost their way when Musselburgh went down to 9 men early in the second half. Still, can't complain when your worst performance of the season still results in a 2-0 win.
