Pat scullion is without a club having left Linlithgow Rose. Thoughts?

It’s hard to see that as anything other than a political move. There’s literally nothing on the BBC Scotland channel at the time, surely no issue keeping it there.
We’ll see how quickly they stop televising the UK Governement press briefings when they begin.
Heard they are banning Bargain Hunt too as each episode ends with a resounding YES5 -
Lochgelly stock cars are allowed to have a crowd as long as they are in there parked cars [emoji593] watching. Maybe we could do the same around the track like auld Gronbach used to do back in the day. Just a thought. The shite that goes around my brain these days.

Has anybody else noticed a lack of swallows, housemartins and swifts. Not seen a single one this year

I've spent a lot of time in the country in my life and last week was the first time I had seen a Tree-creeper!
Cracking wee bird. Had one as a regular in trees around the farm yard. Could watch it for ages going up and down the trees.0 -
To be honest pumping you at EEP and stopping you getting promoted made up for most of it if not all. Watching scarves being thrown onto the pitch in a series of hissy fits was simply magnificent. How was it for you?

Looking forward to new album from the Boomtown Rats based on hearing the first single that’s being released. Album should be a good listen if single is representative

Late night they have the CC festival club. Pot luck which acts are playing it but you'll get 3 or 4 playing 20-30 minutes each at any given night. Often a mix of styles.
Participation? More likely at one of the more regular sessions. One of the pubs near Kelvingrove Park has a well established trad music night.
Thanks going to break out the mandolin I think. Getting too old for lugging around the old banjo. Or could really travel light and find singing session. To be honest I’m like a kid in a sweet shop. So much choice.0 -
Never been to CC before. Coming through Saturday 18th. Going to coastal Connections during the day and blazing fiddles in evening. Can anyone recommend any late night sessions be it singing or playing that you can sit in play.

How do you know he lied? Probably did but how would we know?
His lips were moving3 -
A bauchal of a woman in her late 50’s on bus today, was roaring on her phone to some man that she promised she had “slept wae nae c**t. Man obviously wasn’t believing her. She then swore on her bairns life she hadn’t but qualified by adding “this week”. Much to the amusement of fellow passengers.

If Israel can play in Europe qualifying and Australia can be in Eurovision, maybe Scotland can move to CONCACAF. Might only be half an hour in, but this is tailor made for us. Shite football, shite crowd but plenty of hacking. Post BREXIT Scotland might have a positive side [emoji6]

Brechin have a good manager and assistant - if they keep their squad they will be up top.
Edinburgh very similar - good infrastructure and team, depends on movement of players. They are an outside bet for me.
Elgin may sit around 7th, but depends if they can strengthen their squad.
Cove for me will see a jump in quality - just my humble opinion. Maybe everyone else will prove me wrong?
At least we have people talking about the League and I am demented with no games [emoji6]
You my friend, I fear, are just demented, full stop.0 -
Trump sorts out the Irish border problem, alternative arrangements being a wall.

That beggars belief. It’s almost like he doesn’t know what he is talking about. Oh wait...
He might get the Mexicans to pay for his Irish wall.0 -
Songwriting and recently took up painting. Crap at both mind but enjoyable nevertheless.

Remember was working in a Dunfermline hotel and Kenny Wards daughter was a waitress she got all embarrassed when I told her her dad was a Cowden Legand
Met up with Kenny a few years back and he has no idea how highly regarded he is at Cowdenbeath. He was embarrassed when I told him. Don’t really think he believed me.1 -
We’ve had a few good full backs. Boyle, Markey ,Baxter Bailey et al

I remember Jim from the CFT telling me that Levein had thought all the "scab" stuff would have died down (it was about 15-16 years after the strike) Jim told him he still knew old boys in the area who still went on about the 1926 strike:lol:
I saw him as a scab first and foremost. Good keeper but that doesn’t make up for it.0 -
And cos I'm really bored now, and fed up with this season... I might as well start a semi-regular thread over the next few weeks, asking for your favourite player in certain positions down the years... Starting with....
Best/favourite keeper you've seen with the thankless task of guarding the Cows' net?
Raymie Alan for me. Did like Ernie McGarr when I was younger . What a lad for saving penalties he was.1

My summer so far has been great. Two trips to Skye and a week on Lewis and Harris. It’s addictive.
