  1. Club statement.Screenshot_20200102_182534.thumb.jpeg.753453e2431768946f35c18ac0935834.jpeg

I am so angry, sad and disappointed for our Club. I DO NOT BELIEVE that this represents any true supporter, or anyone associated with Rutherglen Glencairn. I hope the person responsible NEVER attends another Rutherglen Glencairn match, we do not want their support in any form.
  2. Seen a cameraman at the Cambuslang game, will there be highlights posted ? Looking forward to rewatching a thrilling game

I’m sure there will be. Gerry has been providing excellent, unbiased highlights of Rutherglen Glencairn matches for a good number of years.

His dedication is greatly appreciated by supporters who, for whatever reason, cannot take in the matches live.

As one of “those supporters”, I greatly appreciate all the camera men who provide Highlights of their teams. It gives an incite into other Clubs.
  3. Can I take advantage of this Forum to thank all the Video Highlight Contributors who play such a vital part in providing “armchair” supporters (for whatever reason) with the opportunity to continue to follow their team.

In my case Gerry King had provided me and other Rutherglen Glencairn supporters with such detailed, unbiased imo, hightlights of our Championship winning Season.[emoji471]

Thanks Gerry. Your efforts are much appreciated, I can assure you!

  4. Saturday's fixtures as the promotion race starts to head to the "business end" of the season :-
    Cumbernauld United (4th) v Benburb (1st)
    Girvan (14th) v Whitletts Victoria (7th)
    Irvine Victoria (12th) v Rutherglen Glencairn (2nd)
    Kello Rovers (15th) v St Roch's (11th)
    Larkhall Thistle (16th) v Kilsyth Rangers (6th)
    Rossvale (5th) v Craigmark Burntonians (13th)
    Darvel Juniors (9th) v Arthurlie (3rd)
    Your thoughts ?

Tried to be very objective, in terms of the recent form of each team, but realised that I was “creating” results which would benefit The Glens. Sad, really[emoji854]
  5. change my match  result prediction for glencairn  game after hearing  4 players looking for move   amended result  as follows should still be good enough too scrape a  1-0   victory  keep promotion bid alive fingers crossed

Glensmad - Is this the guy from the Cambuslang Adult Reading Class?
  6. I'm pretty sure I know where you are coming from, but if you think  supporters  just pop along, pay there money  and watch in silence without monaning, shouting cheering, laughing then what's the point!!

I am very happy to change “moaners” to “abusers”[emoji6]
  7. All in the past. You guys brought it up earlier in the thread and gave your opinion, so I was just giving mine.
We have had fortunate decisions in our favour as well this season, so hey ho.

As you say, Peter, “decisions” balance out over a Season! (Sometimes[emoji6])
  8. Yet one or two of the supporters continue to criticise at every opportunity. One of them called the team "shocking" to their faces as they came out for the second half yesterday (2-1 ahead at the time as well). Fortunately he got it back both barrels.

Glad to hear that the Player(s) spoke back. I cannot understand their viewpoint at all. The Glens are unbeaten in the League! These “supporters” should take a leaf out of Larkhall Th supporters book. Not having a great Season, but they admire the fact that the players never give up in the face of some heavy defeats. I’m sure in time the Larkhall Payers will pay back their supporters faith in them.
  9. It was a credit to your fans, though, as supporters of some other clubs wouldn't have reacted quite the same way. I just wish your players hadn't hoofed the ball out of the stadium quite so often, I was knackered chasing after them ! [emoji460]️[emoji125]‍♂️

True Peter, now you’ve hit the Big 50, you have to be careful![emoji854]
